The property as a whole is 4 stars normally. We have stayed here before but not in this particular unit. Overall stay this time...3 stars. The elevator was out off and on throughout the stay, making it difficult for my husband who has a knee injury awaiting replacement. The unit had a comfortable bed, but the rest of the furniture was torturous to sit in. We ended up bringing in our beach chairs to sit on. We did like the little coffee station and excellent coffee pot. The bathroom door either falls open or has to be slammed to get it to shut. Some minor updates would make this unit a 5 star experience. Also be advised that the property as a whole has some maintenance upgrades needed. Like the elevator and the stairs on our end, which were quite slippery. Another guest slipped and fell down one flight on her backside. Our host was responsive when we checked in and I would consider staying here again if some of the aforementioned issues were taken care of. There was a lot of good stuff mixed with the not so good. And it WAS a last minute booking on our part due to the storm in the Gulf last week. So we were happy to get anything right in the beach at that late hour.
