Christmas in paradise

My wife, son, brother in law, and two Bruce’s all stayed. It was perfect everyone had their own private space. There were great places to hang out and have time together. The kitchen was perfect. Not only did it have two ovens and plenty of room. It had everything you need to cook a great meal. The view was spectacular. On Christmas Eve we had a family of deer walk right outside our room. We also saw dolphin right from our balcony.

Adult family getaway

We absolutely loved our stay at your property! Everything was extremely clean and we had plenty of room for our family! We were pleasantly surprised at how close we were to the beach and how many dolphins there were swimming very close to the shore! Captured many photos to share with our grandkids. We also had a bonus and saw 2 large bucks and 4 does right next to our back deck!!! Thank you for allowing us to stay! Definitely will come back.

Best vacation ever!

Our family of 6 adults and 4 children (3 and under) had the best vacation ever. The property was perfect! Enough room for everyone to do their own thing, eat as one big family or all come together inside and outside to just hang out together. The proximity to the beach, Salty Dog and the bike trails made this property one we will definitely come back to. The quiet, non crowded beach, pool that was perfectly located to the property, beautiful views of the water and wildlife, and a grassy area right out the back door offered something for everyone! The kitchen had enough basics for our big family at meal times and evening walks for ice cream were wonderful! The property manager was very easy to work with and quite accommodating. This property exceeded our expectations!

My only complaint is the bedroom downstairs was hot and difficult to sleep. They had a sign on the thermostat that it not be lowered under 75. The rest of the house was great and the views were amazing! I would definitely stay there again!

Fabulous house but...

The house was wonderful - everything just as advertised. Very clean and checkin was a breeze. My "but" comes for Vacasa - the management company. The A/C in the bottom floor was not working and the temp downstairs was 80. Vacasa was very responsive, getting a repair technician out the next morning and letting us know who and when he would be arriving. The technician was unable to fix the problem and said Vacasa would be contacting me. But Vacasa has never contacted me to inform me, discuss a refund, apologize for the problem or any other communication other than the automated checkout. Shame on you Vacasa. I'll be calling this week and your response will determine whether I will ever rent from you again.

Great view, easy access to beach and South Beach Marina.

Super easy check in. Loved being steps from the beach with a view of boats, birds, and dolphins. Large unit so family members each had separate space and bathrooms. Easy walk to tennis, pickleball and the marina shops and restaurants. Bike trail right there too! It was perfect for our family vacation! Would love to come back here again!

We Are Family

In these crazy, busy times it was so important for us to take time to reconnect to reach other. We cooked all our meals together, fished and swam together, rode bikes and walked together, explored Dufiskie and jet skied together. We shared our pain and joys, and uplifted those hurting. We celebrated the return of our Navy son back from Barain proud of his service to our country. We made memories that will be cherished for life.

Fabulous Views of the Ocean

My family and I had a fantastic time! There was plenty of space for those of us who wanted to remain in or just walk on the beach. I had just 1 minor concern. I didn't notice that the bottom glass shelf was missing in the refrigerator. So when I attempted to slide food on it, the contents collapsed. It's was like not noticing that a sliding glass door is closed so you bump into it. That was a pretty messy accident. Other than that, we would definitely consider returning.

Fantastic Beach Stay

This was an excellent property and as advertised, seconds from the beach. It is a quick walk to a very private beach strip from the back porch, where you can shower off before heading back into the house. The furnishings were fantastic, and it is also very quick walking distance to the Salty Dog Cafe and shopping right across the street from the neighborhood. The only deduction for the check-in process as it requires you to stop at another address for your parking passes, which we wish would have just been left in the house for a one-stop vacation. Other than that, perfect stay.

We had a great time

We had a great time at the property! We were very excited to be able to bring our four legged family member. The property was clean and completely furnished with all our cooking needs. The only issue we had was the pool code was not furnished and we had a hard time getting it. The people at the pool would not open the gate for us, which was completely frustrating. But overall, we had a great time and would definitely rent this property again.

Poor phone reception

We had difficulty with refrigerator not cooling, no propane for the grill, unreliable wifi and couldn't get in touch with management. Food had to be placed in freezer to keep from spoiling. The propane never got there so we could grill for dinner.

The view was spectacular.

The view was spectacular. The location was great. It was close to the salty dog and all the other places that we like to visit. We played tennis every day, rode bikes, and swam in the pool. The condo decor was nice. However, the Internet connection was not very good. The TV in the main den was difficult to hear. The dishwasher did not work properly. There were also some lights out in the main bedroom closet. Although these issues were annoying, the view and location would still have me rent again.

Beautiful and convenient

Enjoyed a week of rest and fun. Very comfortable home for our family of 4 and both sets of parents, with room to spare. Well stocked kitchen and wonderful dining table to share meals and card games together. Loved quiet coffee mornings on the deck with parents watching dolphins while the teenagers slept in. Afternoons spent between the beach and pool. Evenings exploring on the bike trails. Truly a wonderful time. Many thanks for sharing your lovely home!
