Tomillo is located at the very top of the Tío José María house in Hinojares, the smallest village in Jaén, right in the heart of the Sierra de Cazorla. It features a cozy attic bedroom with a double bed beneath original wooden beams, a living room, a fully equipped kitchen, a private bathroom, and stunning views over the Guadiana Menor valley that change color throughout the day. Exposed stone walls add charm, while modern comforts such as heating, air conditioning, Wi-Fi, and TV ensure a pleasant stay. Please note, access is via stairs as it is on the top floor.



Your hosts, Mari Carmen and Jesús, live in the village and greet you personally, offering advice on the best hiking routes and local dining spots. Bed linen, towels, and cleaning are included; free street parking is available next to the house. Enjoy peace and quiet, a Starlight-certified sky, and, in autumn, the sound of deer rutting. It’s the perfect spot for a couple’s getaway with truly breathtaking mountain views.



Nearby: hiking trails start at your doorstep; Pozo Alcón (supermarkets, bars, and restaurants) is 10 minutes by car; La Bolera reservoir is 25 minutes away; Cazorla and the Guadalquivir’s source are less than an hour; Úbeda and Baeza are an hour and a quarter; Granada and Jaén are two hours away.



No pets allowed. Each apartment is independent with its own entrance; the whole house is not rented. Three other units (Albahaca for 2, Lavanda and Romero for 4) are available in the same house if you’re coming with friends.
