“The room was exceptionally spacious and full of character. Many hotels are a bit soulless but this is far from the case here. The staff were professional, friendly and always with a smile. I've seen a few reviews have commented on 'hidden charges' - breakfast isn't included but this is clear from the very start and there's no pressure to eat here in the morning. If you do, however, the food is excellent (we had dinner) and reasonably priced. I would definitely recommend this hotel.”

“The staff were very friendly and helpful. The lodge we stayed in was spotlessly clean and had everything we wanted, including an excellent range of kitchen utensils. The onsite facilities were perfect, and we really enjoyed using the pool, sauna and jacuzzi. The food in the bar was high quality, and the staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Overall, a perfect weekend! ”

“Enjoyed our stay. Would be nice to park near to the pub, car park is in another field which is a short walk away it seemed safe enough though. Evening meal and breakfast both excellent, staff were very friendly and room was clean. Garden room has a bath only and as it’s in the eves, you can only crouch to have a shower, don’t stand up quick and hit your head like I did! The bed is also tucked under the eves on one side so again be aware when getting up in the night as it is very close to your...

“A calm but rather big hotel 6 km out of Norwich. Very helpful staff but with an accent you just can't understand as a foreigner. But no problem with that. Everything is at place and no need to have long conversations. :-) Nice full breakfast included and I had a beer and a goat cheese tartelette in the evening which tasted rather nice.”
