"The room was strongly perfumed with a menthol scent. It was so strong that it made it hard to sleep. Outside this the room was clean and just fine."

"Nice and clean everywhere in this beautiful hotel, with friendly and helpful staff in both reception and restaurant so excellent service, Close to public transport. Breakfast was good (8/10) while evening menu was so so with one excellent dish while the others we tasted were average or below. Very few options at breakfast or restaurant for our vegan friend, so if that's relevant it's not worth the price. Would definitely book here again because tidyness, coolness, price level (in expensive Vienna), nearness to public transport and the absolutely great staff, but would probably find another place to eat."

"Utmärkt rum (studio) med fullt utrustat kök, rent och snyggt. Fitness/spa med flera bastun och uppvärmd utomhuspool. Lyxigt boende. Nära till t-bana Donauinsel med bara 10 min färd in till city. Trevlig personal!"

"Wonderful hotel in one of the castle wings. Room was large, but the bathroom was small and has a bathtub with shower, it’s OK, but not more. In the castle cellar is the Czech National Wine Centre, where they have over 160 wines from the Czech Republic, and you can buy s ticket for 2 hours and taste as many as you want, each wine has a large fold-up with data and a QR code so you can read in other languages. Valtice is a very nice little town, there are many wine-bars and restaurants, well worth a visit!"
