“My wife and I wanted to “slow travel” for a few days and found this place on VRBO. It’s a 100-yr old traditional coastal home.
It is directly across the road (there is a convenient tunnel under the road) from Zaimokuza and Yuigahama beaches and there is a bus stop right outside the door for a 15 min ride to/from Kamakura Station. The #40 bus is reliable and easy. Don’t bother with a taxi.
It is also a 15-min walk to the Enoden train, which follows the coastline and goes to Hase and Enoshima...
“The owner (bushi) of the guesthouse was such an amazing and kind person. He gave a tour around Kamakura and made delicious breakfast for me and my husband. I was a bit nervous since it was my first time staying at a guest house but it became a precious memory. ”

“A nice little guest house, with everything you need for a few nights of stay: A comfy bed, toilet and a shower (and a coin laundry). Allthough all anemities are shared with others, it was never crowded, so you can easily do what you need to do in your own time. The staff was also helpful with anything I needed. Hot tip: Bring your ear plugs, as there are som reccuring noices outside (and a screaming child from within). A good nice stay overall.”
