“Fantastic view even though it rained and at times the sea entrance was misty it was still fascinating. Dinner was superb with the most delicious seafood chowder served. A special treat was being next to a family group who sang beautifully and a man in the group played the guitar. Thank you Omapere Sands, a very enjoyable night's stay. “Enjoyed yesteryear charm. Excellent little touches. Be prepared to travel for Cafe's in Rawene. Great to walk the Kohukohu village up past the school to appreciate the wonderful old villas. Most were built in the 1800's. Best to purchase a concession card for ferry travel. Much cheaper.”
