“We had fallen in love with the Sands Hotel in an earlier overnight visit (2023). The ocean view from the room was exceptional and the weather was pleasant so we slept with the doors open listening the to ocean and the breeze. Staff was wonderful and meals were good. Folks went above and beyond by being able to make up an ad hoc dinner when the power was out - delicious fish dinner by candlelight. There was a decent number of construction projects underway so it looks like the hotel will only...

“Our stay here was just what we needed! Perfect option for our little family (Grandma, 3yo, 5yo and Mum). Kids absolutely loved the playground at the foot of our backdoor (2 bdrm flat). Heaps of room to run around or you could just sit by the river and watch the water. The 2 bdrm flats are slightly older so don't go expecting 5 star quality. It was perfect for us with a great location, handy as we were travelling between family around the area. There's a simple shop on hand for necessities....
