âFirst: no elevator to the 1st landing. Difficult with major luggage. I specifically stayed here because it advertised as âself parkingâ and then I had to pay. Simon, the front desk receptionist was most helpful and kind. The restaurant was good and convenient and the wait staff was fabulous.â

âExcellent for the price I paid. Rooms have recently been renovated and it showed. The only niggles were that the extractor fan in the bathroom was very noisy and probably needs replacing (room 10) and there was no hot water: I tried to have a shower but couldn't: No matter how long you ran the tap for or in which position the water never got warm.
Would definitely stay there again. Big thank you to Jamie who so very kindly let me check in early.â
âWanted to stay somewhere with a rural charm, and this did not disappoint! Staff very friendly and helpful. We did the half board which offered great value. Proper pub food, reasonably priced and excellent quality. Same can be said about breakfast. Great location to explore the area and walks nearby. Only slight downside were that the walls were quite thin so you could hear movements from neighbouring rooms. â

âFood was excellent, breakfast plentiful and tasty, evening meals were very good.
Bathroom we were in was a little cramped and the floor tiles were cracked and broken.
Overall the whole stay was very pleasant , the staff were very friendly without being overly so.
Would definitely go back if we were in the area.â

Only my personal preference would be cotton bedding and heavier duvet and better quality pillows for the winter also the overhead kitchen cupboards are in need of an update as quite difficult to shut .
