En pittoresk plats vid "Deep Water Chute" pÄ Lake Taneycomo ca en mil ner frÄn Table Rock Dam. Avskilt frÄn 200 fot bluffs med massiva ekar skuggning tÀckta verandor och dÀck. Den primÀra bostadstugan har 3br & 2baths, Àr fullt utrustad och tillhandahÄllen, inklusive Kabel / WiFi / Hottub. I anslutning till huvudbyggnaden, förbunden med dÀck Àr ett tvÄ rums bungalow "guest house" med separat mini = kök och badrum. Bungalowen har just ÄterstÀllts frÄn översvÀmningarna i januari 2016. Rika dÀck möbler inklusive grill och "veranda gungor Àr tillgÀngliga. Det finns gott om parkeringsplatser för sÄ mÄnga bilar som behövs samt ett stort dubbelt carport utrymme för campare eller husbilar. FrÄn dÀcken finns det cirka tio steg till den stora bryggan med en bred glida som rymmer gÀstens "slÀpade bÄt" eller en bÄt hyrd frÄn Trout Lodge Marina bara 200 meter nedströms. Det finns en allmÀn tillgÄng bÄt lansering bara 200 meter uppströms frÄn bostaden. Denna lugna och vackra miljö Àr lika bra som det blir för en "Trout Fishing Experience" pÄ berömda Taneycomo. Naturligtvis precis uppför backen Àr The College of the Ozarks med sin prisbelönta exklusiva Keeter Center Restaurant. Bara nerför gatan frÄn Trout Lodge, Àr Gilberti's italienska och pÄ toppen av kullen hittar du McDonalds, Country Mart Sonic, etc. Bostaden ligger ungefÀr en mil nerför backen frÄn College of the Ozarks, som Àr omedelbart vid Hollister exit. "Strip / 76" avfarten Àr bara 4 minuter bort och The Landing "bara 5 minuter bort antingen vid I-65 eller bakvÀgen genom downtown Hollister.

The property has a huge back patio overlooking the lake, plenty of parking. Negatives: the owner does not respond to questions or provide checkin or checkout inforation. There are roaches in the main house. Property needs some fixing up.

Let me start by mentioning the positives
. For the price the overall stay was fine. The location, the views and the outdoor deck space is all really fantastic. The cabin is not secluded by any means but the way the outdoor area in the back is set up with the buildings you most certainly have privacy. The house and guest house are very old so there is an odd musty smell especially towards the back bedrooms. The hot water does take some time to heat up which is no big deal at all. The shower in the guest house hot and cold is backwards so if you want hot water in the shower you have to turn to the cold setting which we didn’t figure out until the last day. The guest cabin has a vent to the P-trap that vents under the sink opposed to outside so on two of the days the guest cabin had a strong odor of sewage and the doors had to remain open to air out that smell. The guest house cable was not working although cable was working in the main cabin. Communication with the host was very poor. He did not respond to any questions nor did I receive check in instructions until last minute and I had to request those. The only timely response was when I requested at least 200 of my stay back due to the guest staying in the guest cabin having such a poor experience in which he was very defensive and disagreed stating I was just being a bad guest and trying to get some money back. The cabins were clean. Main cabin was great, guest cabin was quit unpleasant.

Beautiful location! One shower had only cold water and the other had standing water. Husband had to fix the drain so all of our party could use the one shower. Tried to contact property manager to see if there was a key or code to get in. No one answered or got back with me. Thankfully the back door was unlocked.Shattered glass on ground in bedroom by the broken mirror. Not really a picky person but unacceptable for the price paid.

Sometimes hot water works, sometimes it does not; no matter how long one waits for it. Otherwise potentially excellent property and location. Just needs some maintenance.

I’ve never left a bad review of anything but feel obligated to warn future tenants. We arrived with no check in information. There were two cars in the driveway when we arrived with nobody around. All doors were unlocked upon arrival and when we walked in there were full trash cans, dirty dishes in the sink, every bed was dirty and unmade, dogfood on the floors, dog hair everywhere, and a heap of wet towels in the bathroom. The second smaller house on the property was also dirty and smelled so bad that we were unable to stay in it. It smelled like something(s) was dead in the wall or under the house. We attempted to reach out to the host with no answer on the provided number and no returned messages for hours. Not knowing what to do we did 7 loads of laundry so we could sleep that night. The host did message us later that they would comp us for a hotel room that night or cancel our reservation. We already had kids asleep at that point and that wasn't an option. Sometime during the first night, both cars were moved from the property. Aside from the general dirtiness of the whole property, there were several broken chairs, mirrors, door handles, and windows. The porch and walkway down to the dock has several broken or near broken boards that were unsafe to walk on. The setting of this property and the view of the river is beautiful and if kept up would be an incredible place to stay. Unfortunately, our experience with this house and host was not good.

The owners check in instructions they send 24 hours before arrival reads: "IF THIS FURTHER DESCRIPTION OF THE PROPERTY, THAT IT IS “AN OLDER, NICE, BUT WORN CABIN IS NOT WHAT YOU HAVE HOPED FOR

.PLEASE CANCEL AND BOOK ONE OF THE NEW GLITZY EXTENDED FAMILY PROPERTIES WITH UPSCALE SUBURBAN AMENITIES After arrival we found and older very worn cabin. It appears there has been little or no maintenance of this property. Very dirty, bugs everywhere, cobb webs everywhere, light bulbs burnt out, TVs in both buildings don't work, ROKU not working, DVD not working BBQ grill does not work, patio heater does not work. The one thing we did enjoy was the new firepit after we removed all the built up leaves off deck and pit area. We have stayed at fish camps and hunting camps that were better maintained than this property. We definitely cannot recommend this property to friends or family when there are many more properties, we have stayed at in the past, within a mile for rent at similar cost.

Eight of us went and the place was so comfy cozy and had room for all of us. Rustic log cabin on the lake and a big porch to watch the morning fog come in on the water. So peaceful! We loved that it was a rustic setting, no glitz, but just what we wanted to make it so comfortable. We hope to come back next year if schedules allow.

I didn't expect the ritz, but I'm still not fully satisfied with what I paid for. If you don't mind ruffin' it a bit you will be fine. The beds seemed clean and the backyard was picturesque. However, if you plan on using the smaller cabin, there is no hot water. The wifi does not work. We also saw a handful of roaches in both cabins during our stay. I would not rebook unless the property owner puts some money back into this place. It was overall filthy, a lot of things were broken, and we found quite a few nails and screws in the gravel drive. Not to mention I reached out to the Property Manager the day of because they forgot to send us check-in instructions. It could be a nice getaway, but it needs a lot of TLC.

We were a group of 8 family members that live far from each other and met in Branson as a halfway point and this cabin and guest house suited our needs perfectly. I will not lie, the more recent reviews had us a bit nervous about our stay but it was too late to back out so we decided to go ahead and make do with what we had booked. However, when we got there we were PLEASANTLY surprised. The location was stunning and both the main cabin and guest house were clean and had no issues. Is it a new build with the latest and greatest? Not at all. It’s a rustic cabin on the water with the quirks you would expect from an older cabin on the water with what we considered a great cost. Our fisher men and women loved being able to fish off the property and many of us enjoyed sitting on the dock daring each other to put our feet into the surprisingly cold water. And we had plenty of room for the kids to run around and be kids. All in all it was the perfect spot for our family to meet and spend time together while also being close to Branson to do activities.

Nice quite place on the river only real problem was A musty smell in your house and needs a pest control company to spray for bugs they are everywhere which is common for a river house but could use a monthly spray. Also a electric lock on the door instead of a key.

2 days prior to arrival owner messaged that hot tub was down and that there was a leak in the guest house. With 2 days notice, we decided to keep booking as we didn’t need the extra space. Upon arrival, we discovered the hot tub had been gone for so long there was no evidence that it ever existed. We thoroughly inspected the property, which we do with any rental. We found water running in a sink in the guest house and open pipes sticking up from the floor where it appeared a repair was underway with water shooting onto the floor. My husband is a retired contractor. He went to the hardware store and purchased supplies to plug the pipes. We are property owners and did not want the property to flood further. We were over 5 hours from home and it was already late in the evening so we decided to make due for the night, so we chose to stay one night. My husband slept in a recliner as he refused to sleep in the beds. There are holes in the walls, sheets are either filthy or are covered in wear balls, and despite a cleaning fee, this place hasn’t been cleaned in a very long time. This property is unsafe and filthy. We checked out the next morning. John, the property owner agreed to a partial refund, but has not and will no longer respond to my messages. I have lodged a formal complaint with VRBO and requested that the property be removed from VRBO. Unfortunately, I am unable to post pictures on this review because you would have to see it to believe it.

If your looking for clean home perfection not your place. Furniture old had holes and cushions didn't fit. WIFI was a hotspot you shared with neighbors. Toilets had issues wouldn't flush used a pitcher from kitchen to fill tank. Owner stated he corrected thing as well as he could. Washer rinse cycle didn't work. We did come for the fishing it didn't disappoint. Patio cushions cover with duck poop. Its rustic and way over priced.

First and foremost, the location was simply breathtaking. Nestled near the College of Ozark surrounded by stunning natural beauty, this property offered a serene and peaceful ambiance. that instantly made us feel at home. The log cabin look had a rustic charm that was both cozy and quaint. The kitchen was fully equipped with everything we needed to prepare our Thanksgiving meal. The outdoor space was perfect! We felt like we were in the wilderness yet we were only 1.8 miles away from the grocery store.
