Great but

Pool wasn’t clean when we even asked about the water before coming down. Air was a struggle to cool the upstairs and the guest shower you had to stand over the drain to get water on you. Over all nice place just needs to better checking and reviews before allowing people to fully check in .

Overall Great House

Our stay was overall very good. We stayed for two weeks and felt like home. The house is very spacious and is as described. The pool was awesome and a great set up. The house includes beach chairs, a beach wagon and an umbrella and is about 5 min walk to the beach. The cleanliness of the place could use some work and a deep clean. There was mold in the downstairs king bedroom shower (not sure about the upstairs because it was barely used) and the tub could use a good scrubbing. It looked like there was also mold on the living room ceiling by a vent (it was different looking than the distressed wood in other parts.) The sliding door to the back also hasn't been cleaned in what looked like years but the furniture and carpets seemed okay. The pans/cookware provided is in pretty awful shape, along with the knives so I recommend bringing your own if you can.

Great Stay!

We had a great stay, but there were a couple of things that guests should be aware of... the upstairs bedroom can get very warm even when the AC is extra cool on the main level. Had to use 2 fans to stay cool while sleeping, could have used 2 more fans. Also, this would be the first house that we've stayed in that didn't have seasonings, aluminum foil, zip lock bags, coffee, etc. Not really a huge deal, but we had to go back to the store to buy those items. The guest instructions say that the pool guy comes 2 times per week, however, he can be a surprise when he pops up in the yard, also not a big deal, just a surprise. Otherwise, the house is very clean, quiet street, great pool, used the grill, loved the location, we would stay again.

June 2022 Family getaway

We stayed in the home and had a great time, nice area that’s is close to the beach and various town amenities. The home is well cared for and has all the amenities you need for a nice vacation. Anna Marie island had beautiful aquamarine water and soft sandy beaches.

Amazing week on AMI and Holmes Beach at Casa Azul

We had an amazing week at Casa Azul. Cozy home, plenty of space for our family of four. The pool was fantastic, quick walk to the beach, great local restaurants. Everything we needed was provided!

Excellent Stay.

House is as advertised and is a great place to stay. Quiet neighborhood and close to the beach and the trolley. Would recommend for anyone looking for a rental on AMI. FYI: The garbage company does not pick up the trash unless the containers are taken to the street, contrary to the instructions.

House is nice except black mold in bathroom. Rental agency not great

The house is very nice. With a good layout for three couples or family with 2 kids. Each bedroom has its own bathroom. The kitchen area has most things you would need to enjoy your stay. The pool area/backyard is small but nice . The beds were very comfortable . Our one concern about home was the black mold in the master bathroom. There was an 3 inch by 3 inch area where the shower stall hits the drywall with quite a bit of black mold growing in it. It was very concerning since that’s the room we were staying in because it can be so dangerous to your health. The rental agency leaves a lot to be desired. The home description said heated pool and we checked in it was so cold you couldn’t even get in it. They said they would send someone over but never did. So on day 2 we had to go to the side of the house and find the heater, which was off, and turn it on. It took two and half days to heat up (of our 6 night trip) enough to be able to go in. So we couldn’t use the pool for half of our stay. Boy did our kids complain about that a lot. There was supposed to be a house binder that tells you Internet codes and all information about the home. It was not there. We asked for a replacement three times and it never showed up. The garbage cans were stuffed (overloaded) when we got there. We called and asked if we could get a special pick up and were told it should be emptied in the next couple days. The garbage was never emptied during our 6 days there. We had to put our garbage on the ground outside of the garbage cans, which was a gross thing to look at each day. So responsive to guest request/ concerns is not high on this rental agencies list.

Quiet, Spacious and Clean!

Had a great time here during our time on AMI. We had 5 adults, a child and a small dog, and the space worked perfectly for us for cooking, dining and spending time together. No coffee, filters or basic cooking seasonings (salt/pepper/oil) etc., so need to bring your own, but otherwise had everything we needed. Beach is a short walk.

Perfect last minute beach getaway!

Decided to come to Anna Maria last minute for a beach getaway and this was the perfect spot. It is only 1.5 blocks off the beach so a very short walk, the pool area is super private and has a great tropical feel. It’s right in the middle of the island so short rides to get to everything. AMI Locals were great to deal with, the communications before arrival were clear and easy to follow, even got a call asking if they could help with anything just to call! The house was very clean and had everything you need to have a great beach stay. We will definitely be back to stay at one of AMI Locals many houses on Anna Maria again!
