Large bathroom with corner bath and powerful shower. Lots of hot water, clean white fluffy towels. We upgraded to King size bed, patio doors to outside decked veranda. Fabulous in the warm weather.
Next door to the pub and restaurant.
Excellent food, good menu both evening meal and breakfast.
Couples only at the moment.
Well worth it. Would definitely stay again.

âThis was our second stay at 40 winks and it was even better! Warn welcome, beautiful decor, delicious breakfast. Host went out of his way to make our visit run smoothly as we were here for a graduation ceremony. We will be back. Didnât have time to use the new bar so we must return!! â

The surroundings are idyllic with lavender fields, apple and plum trees as well as all the beaitiful plants

âThe manager Anna couldnât have been nicer. She greeted us with a cup of tea and biscuits and allowed us to check-in early and was very helpful with suggestions of things to do in the city. Rooms were comfortable and quiet and included on-site free parking. Location just a short walk into the centre. Breakfast also very good with lots of options. â
âOverall everything was good, our only issue was after being there for a few days we noticed the toaster was full of crumbs, obviously not been emptied for quite some time, and the oven tray had not been cleaned after it had been used. We hadnât met the owner, so decided it was easier just to clean them both before using them.
On the hole, everything else was excellent.
There was no recycling facilities, which was quite a surprise, and also a slight disappointment. Everything else was above...

âNot great for EV drivers as when you take the car to charge, you cannot return to the hotel to park. And the cleanliness in the bathroom prevented me from bathing my 3 year old.â
âThis was a very nice comfortable place. We had a little trouble finding it. Was easy to check in and out of. The only suggestion I would make was to put the exterior patio lights on a timer so that they turn off at nightâ if itâs hot and you have the window open then you have all the light from the patio. But it was very clean and comfortable.â
âHotel was a little dated, however, the staff and service was second to none. We also booked dinner in the bistro and that was absolutely delicious. Bistro was very nice and staff were excellent, delivering excellent service. Nothing was to much bother. We asked for lattes after our meal to drink in the lounge next door to the Bistro, and staff were very accommodating. We will definitely stay again. Great place to stay â
