“We found the Hotel through the reviews on here and we had a fabulous experience. Both the dinner and the breakfast were excellent. Locally sourced, beautifully prepared food. Our hosts were excellent. The room was comfortable and had everything we needed. Highly recommended.”

“Property has been upgraded downstairs and the restaurant and bar area are lovely as is the outside courtyard. When you go upstairs it’s apparent that an upgrade is still required. Our room - 3 - overlooked a very busy main road and the secondary double glazing did nothing to keep the constant traffic noise at bay. There are two windows in that’s room. And they are old and rotten. Triple glazed windows required. Carpets need replacing. Bathroom has been upgraded and is very pleasant but b&b...

“Staff were very courteous and accommodating, and gave helpful suggestions about the local area. Breakfast was made to order at our chosen time. Unfortunately, I thought the room looked rather tired and I found the bed quite uncomfortable, with hard ridges across the mattress all the way down. The bathroom in our room was OK but quite small. There were no shelves or anywhere to put toiletries or cosmetics. ”

“Whilst the room was relatively clean, it did not resemble the advertised pictures. It was more like a HMO than a ‘hotel’ or ‘B&B’. There is a number lock to enter the building and then another number lock on the bedroom door - no staff. - and more like poor student digs.
