Cozy 2 bedroom (sleeps 6) with one bath. 2 Queen beds and queen ( electronic) pull out couch. Situated on 20 acres and beautiful views of the property including pond and all varieties of wildlife. Close to tubing, kayaking, hiking, snowmobiling, orv trails, and state land for hunting. Sagining Eagle Casino is approx 15 miles away. Lumbermens Monument is approx 40 miles away and Tawas Lighthouse Point is approximately 40 miles. House has full kitchen along with outside grill and campfire ring for your enjoyment. We welcome fishermen and your boats as well as trailers, ATV's and snowmobiles. Central Air and WiFi included

Rural Living

Great rural setting with abundant wildlife life, all within a short drive to local towns. I was there to do some fishing and there was plenty of area to park. The owners are the nicest people you will meet and were more that helpful with anything you needed.

Cozy and Clean!

Cozy, comfortable and clean! We absolutely loved this cabin. This place is well maintained and you can tell the owners really put time and effort in to making it a comfortable experience. Beds are great, living room and kitchen space is well equipped. Property is beautiful.

Adorably cozy property! Very comfortable, surrounded by lovely, wonderful nature! Our stay was delightful and the property owners were so kind and helpful and designed an amazing set up with games and plenty of blankets and even s'mores ingredients! Clean, cute, comfortable!

We stayed at Tammy and John's place in August 2022 - it was our home base during a family reunion weekend nearby in Sterling. This was a super cute and very clean place for us to regroup each night after our time with our extended family! There was nothing that we needed from the owners, but it was nice to know that they were on property in case anything came up or we had issues. They have put a lot of thought and time into renovating the home and we felt welcomed and comfortable there. Their personal home is in the back of a beautiful, large piece of property - very quiet and peaceful. We enjoyed our morning coffee watching deer, heron and other wildlife come in to feed. Very relaxing place in a quiet area. We would love to come back again and enjoy a s'more or two by the fire for sure. Lots of parking if you are towing anything - we stored our kayak trailer there for the weekend, and there is also a lot of room for boats, etc. Thanks John and Tammy for a great stay!

Host where great, supper friendly and our accommodations were excellent and boat friendly location

We were in the area for the Michigan walleye tour. We were able to entertain guests on our blow day do to bad weather we were unable to fish. Owners of property were friendly and very accommodating. With a corn hole, board games , card games. Can wait to spend time with Tammy and John next season!

Peace, Quiet, and a lot of nature.

This property was a great place to get away, especially if you are looking to get away from the hustle and bustle of city life. The rental is on 20 beautiful acres teaming with wildlife. The Groulx family has done a great job of creating a home away from home. You can sit at the cabin and play cards, relax on the porch, sit around a campfire or play cornhole. But in 15 minutes you can be in Standish, 25 minutes in West Branch and 30 minutes you can be sitting on the beach in Tawas. I am hoping to stay with here again.

Excellent location

The property owners were friendly and made our stay great. It is decorated nice and well cared for. It’s in great location for what we needed. Much larger then it looks. We stayed to celebrate Christmas with family and it was all decorated for Christmas! We will be renting again!
