We loved the open air quality of the space, and our daily visits from Paele the cat, the wild pig, wild turkey, and many geckos! “Great unexpected & laid back experience. From the exciting night drive to the site and then waking up to your own secluded and peaceful sliver of south Kona. The fruit/pig farm combination gives just enough activity to your serene little home - not to mention the frisbee challenge!! Excellent getaway from the city and typical Hawaii beach environment. Our Hosts made the stay comfortable and homey. Highly recommended and would definitely Hana Hou!!”

“This was my third stay at Jill's Mermaid Studio in the small, quiet village of Napo'opo'o, about 30 - 40 min south of busy Kailua. The village is right on Kealakekua Bay and close to the best snorkelling on the Big Island (IMO). Jill is very knowledgeable about the area and is always helpful and positive. The apartment had everything: good wifi, all the cooking tools I needed, lots of room and a great outdoor shower.”
