  • Härlig stuga ligger i centrum av Hope Town bara några steg från kaffebryggan. Denna nyrenoverade stuga ��r enkel men elegant och inom gångavstånd fr��n stranden, affärer och restauranger.
    Nedervåningen ��r en queen size-s����ng och en halv bad. På övervåningen finns ett sovrum med queen size-säng, sovrum med dagbädd och trille (bra för barn) och ett gemensamt badrum. Idealiskt är detta hem perfekt för fyra vuxna och två barn; eller fem vuxna.

Elbow Cay

Dunwanderin is a charming property. Very quaint, historical architecture with all the modern conveniences. We came for a wedding thinking this would be a once in a lifetime opportunity. After learning some history of Hope Town, all the friendly people, dining and of course the beach, I think we will be back.

The outside space is magical with plenty of seating and very refreshing in the late afternoon. The outside shower was one of the best ever used. Overall great house to reset.

The outside has a secluded deck with a table large enough for your family to enjoy. We only wished it had a front porch to people watch and mirrors in the bedrooms (also in need of a full length mirror). We all said we would stay here again in a heartbeat!!!

Rental has an issue with the upstairs air conditioner leaking over the downstairs slider. Also has evidence of water damage outside the upstairs shower that has caused the siding to warp in the upstairs bedroom. Informed them and they said they would be fixed. Overall good experience. Thanks.

Fabulous house and location

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had nearly 3 weeks in Dunwanderin and loved every minute. It is one of the houses which survived the hurricane and is full of history and charming details. It is comfortable and very well provided. The little patio deck outside was lovely particularly in the early morning and evening. Although it doesn't have a 'view' as such, it is close to everything in Hope Town, and there are views in every direction within a few yards of stepping outside. Captain Jack's is just round the corner and Vernon's Grocery right behind. You can view the sunset within a few minutes walk to the kissing seat, and the ocean a short walk to the east, with a wonderful beach to swim in. The Lower Dock is very close and you can get the free shuttle over to the Lighthouse marina very easily. The Elbow Cay office was round the corner, so very easy to sort anything out and arrange help at departure! They couldn't have been more helpful. We would love to return - and Dunwanderin would be our first choice.

It was extremely close to the dock so getting our stuff into the house was very easy. The house was very warm and cozy and had everything we needed in it. The back porch was our favorite part, surrounded by trees and beautiful flowers.

It’s right in the gated settlement area and an easy walk to the beach, restaurants, shops & groceries. Everything worked well and the house is very charming. It is not a modern, large house, but that’s not what we were looking for. By far the best part of the home was the beautiful back patio and outdoor shower. I looked forward to showering under the beautiful bougainvillea and stars every night! Great water pressure and hot water! If I were to make a suggestion to the owners- put a queen size bed in the downstairs bedroom. We we a family of 4 with a teenage son and daughter. We put them in the upstairs bedrooms and took the downstairs for a little separation. The bed was a little small. The golf cart parking was a bit of a pain, but once you settle into the pace of Hopetown it’s no big deal. Wi-Fi was great. TV not so much, but we did not care.

Our adult children had the upstairs floor to themselves complete with a full bath, yet funny how we all stood in line to take a shower in the outside cabana! House cozy and clean. Kitchen fully equipped. Conveniently located behind Vernon’s Grocery and Munchies. So close to Jack’s you can walk home after a few “Jackhammers”and not get lost! Our caretaker, Francois, was kind and courteous. Thanks to all for our stay. We shall return.
