Love the location. It was great for two people! Would rent again! Also get groceries and adult beverages in marsh harbor. Much better selection. Markets limited on island.

Great place to get out of the sun and still be outside. House was clean and neat and had everything we needed.

Great Location

Great location in Hope Town. Looks to be an original home in the area. House was well appointed. Queen bedroom was up with winding stairs. We paid to use the washer/dryer since we were coming from another home on the island. Generator worked well, the island had rolling blacks out while we were there. AC was a bit of a struggle and had to make a call to get it looked at.

Reviewer Comments: great house steps from the beach. well equipped, close to everything. in town but only a few minutes to the post office dock to get to your golf cart. first time to elbow - would definitely return.. you can see the life coming back to the island - good stuff!

Honeymoon Villa was absolutely lovely! Beautifully renovated following hurricane Dorian. The villa was so comfortable, well laid out, perfect for one or two couples. Front porch was our favorite 'room'. We will definitely return. Thank you!!

A few steps up the hill and you have a panoramic view of the gorgeous beach. Take the stairs down to the beach. The pick up and return service of the rental company was great. They will guide you through when you need to get the ferry. Cap n Jacks has great grouper sandwiches. Sip Sip has great pizza. Don't miss the lighthouse.

Adventure in November

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We stayed at Honeymoon Villa Nov. 5-12, 2022. The villa is exceptionally well appointed, better than any rental we have had anywhere. It is a cozy, comfortable cottage, very well located in the settlement and steps to the beach. Our stay coincided with Tropical Storm Nicole so sunny days on the beach were not in the cards. The villa's generator was out of service so when we lost power for 2 days, the good folks at Elbow Cay Properties put us in temporary quarters until power came back. We definitely would stay at Honeymoon Villa again, but not in November!

Beautiful Honeymoon Villa Hopetown

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We rented the Honeymoon Villa for 12 nights in May 2023. Perfect location in the settlement of Hopetown. Walk over the hill, and beautiful secluded beach awaits. The Villa was equipped with everything needed for our stay. Be sure to rent Beach chairs and Umbrellas. The generator was not connected, but we never needed it during our stay. The queen bed is located in the loft upstairs. There is a narrow spiral staircase up to the loft. We enjoyed the front porch, but bug spray is needed. Wonderful vacation, for my husband and I. We will rent again.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The house was very well appointed, great location. Very close to beach access and settlement. House was very clean, with the floors being the exception - our feet were filthy if we went barefoot. They need to add a new frying pan or two. Note the washer and dryer are showing as amenities but after we booked we received notification to have access to them we would have to pay an additional $100. We opted to use the local laundromat for $14. Good restaurants on the island, you'll need to rent a golf cart to see the south side of the island. You can't have a golf cart in the settlement, but it's very walkable. I'd emailed the property mgmt office thru VRBO and asked several questions before our trip and never received a response. Yes, there is a hair dryer, beach towels and no there is not a cooler, beach chairs or umbrella - you'll have to rent those also. Buy groceries on the big island and take over on the ferry, buy water to drink it's not filtered. The property mgmt was helpful and friendly once we were there. We'd definitely go back.

It is right in the settlement near Vernons, Munchies and walkable to everywhere else. It's also right by the beach! The rental company picked us up when we arrived, showed us around our home and were super easy to work with. We will stay here again.

The property management group is quick to respond to questions and very helpful. The queen bed and pillows are very comfortable. We spent a lot of time on the porch, which was quiet, airy, and private. The outdoor shower was a bonus. We already rebooked for next year.

First, the staff always friendly and helpful. Tremendous people to work with. All the properties we have rented are very clean and orderly. The cleaning staff and caretakers are wonderful people!
