“The location is amazing, the home is beautiful, well maintained, and the furnishings are comfortable. This was a wonderful place to enjoy the eclipse - the nearby town provided the food (both groceries and restaurants) and the nearby lake provided a great vantage point to view the event. Walking through the woods made this a peaceful and comfortable stay. The hosts made sure we had everything we needed and made suggestions on where to go out to eat.”

I had booked it because it was in the core shadow path of the 2024 eclipse but I would choose it again just for its own qualities. “Our family celebrates both Thanksgiving and Christmas over the long Thanksgiving weekend. Faith’s Lodge was absolutely perfect. There was room for all of us to spread out. The teens loved the pool table and nightly tournaments were held. Even though it rained most of the weekend, the screened porch was comfortable and dry. Will definitely visit again.”
