London trip
We arrived about noon. We could choose our room. Waited 15 minutes for it to be cleaned. Superb bed, always got a good night's sleep. We had renewed energy to do London following day. The English breakfast was a little bit to small. Recommend you try in the village, same price. 2 places that serve from 8 am. Also the continental can be improved, with vegan and gluten free choices. Pick up to and from the airport worked well. Only problem was the shower, to cold depending on when you shower. Asked about it, they said best in evening or morning to shower. No problem with cleaning of our room. At the entrance there was always refreshments.

Ett personligt och trevligt hotell med god service. Kunde vara lite fräschare och modernare men levererar helt ok nivå i relation till priset. Bra läge nära Gatwick och smidig transfer.

Gammalt och slitet
Besvikelse över skicket på "hotellet". Kontinental frukosten var värdelös! Rostmackor med smör och marmelad, juice i plastglas, inga grönsaker eller något större utbud på pålägg. Torftigt! Horley som by var bra, bra centrum men lite långt att gå. Hotellservicen var botten!

Allt var mycket bra, men vi kände oss lite lurade på att man fick fri resa från hotellet till flygplatsen, fick betala 12 pund, det stod det var gratis. Annars var allt perfekt, läge frukostar service, nöjda kunder. mvh Maria

Bra för sömn, inte mycket annat
Kändes mer som ett familjeägt gästhus än ett hotell. De var vänliga nog att laga oss ett mål mat på sena kvällen. Men det finns andra hotell som ger mer för pengarna.

It appears as though the owners are renovating the place, which is great news because the carpets and furniture are in bad shape and the walls may as well be paper. On a positive note, the sheets were great.

Room was too hot, with no controls. With string winds outside, couldn't leave the window open. Seemed like the room hadn't been cleaned, though the beds and bathroom where fine. We were able to walk to a fine pub for dinner. Their restaurant is very small and there was no one there when we tried it. The bar is only open after 6pm, so we couldn't have a drink on arrival. Price is reasonable and they did have transfer to airport.

Shame to see wallpaper in areas of the hotel ripped and missing. A lick of paint is needed to brighten the place. Feet were hanging of the end of the bed. I guess you get what you pay for. Three very very small beds crammed into a very small room. Wish I had payed more for a better experience

Basic service and room. It just needs a slight refresh of bedding and curtains to not look so cheap. The room was cheap in price, so I wasn’t expecting much, though it provided I everything I needed. I think just for the asthetic aspect, just plain bedding would be better than the cheap looking mis- matched bedding and curtains they currently have. Would stay again though if only using as a transit stop before an early flight and only sleeping there for a few hours.

Basic hotel but clean, comfortable and convenient for pre-flight stay. Good value for money even with the parking fee (which I would rather it was added to the Expedia hotel rate rather than having to pay separately on site). Overall I would stay again if taking an early Gatwick flight.

Room was clean, bed was comfortable, close safe walk to town. Breakfast for a fee was ok. Hotel is old, messy, room was hot, no control over temperature. We opened a window on main floor all night, which isn't safe. Someone knocked twice then opened our door with a key at 7:30 am. Reception check-in and out wasn't very professional.

Booked with parking and breakfast, they insisted on charging for parking and wanted to charge for breakfast. This was then taken off the bill, however breakfast consisted of instant self made coffee, no hot offerings, even eggs! Cutlery was very poor wooden offerings. Left in disgust as staff were very unhelpful as well

Ok, but parking wasn't free
The hotel was under renovation during our stay... I was aware of this when I booked and was fine with it. The facility is dated, so it's a good thing that they're doing the reno! Room was small, but beds were comfortable. The handheld shower head was patched together with tape and leaked profusely making the water pressure terrible. When searching for hotels, I specifically picked one with free parking but when I arrived, I was told there would be a parking fee of £12/night. We opted to use the hotel's airport transfer service (£13). I was disappointed that the driver didn't help us with our bags and just stood by as the other (elderly) passengers and I wrestled them into the back of the van.

Quick overnight stay
Just a quick overnight for an early flight from Gatwick. More than convenient, easy transaction, small but nice room and the offer of airport parking which we were unaware of and had already booked. Building work currently, but didn't make any difference to us and several pubs etc a short walk away in Horley

A lot of dust and dirt in every corner of the room. Very thin walls, so we woke up every time someone was in the hallway, and if someone sneezed in the room next door. The airport shuttle bus forgot us in the morning, and we had to call for it to come back, making us twenty minutes late for the airport.

A very average place but acceptable for one night. The place looks to be permanently in renovation so not to actually do any upgrades. The transfer cost £13 extra, that equates to an hourly rate of £200/hour

Hotel muy cerca del aeropuerto de Gatwick, como a 10 -15 minutos , ahí mismo está la terminal del metro, que te lleva hasta el centro de Londres en unos 45-60 minutos dependiendo al lugar que quieres ir ,ahí mismo en la terminal del aeropuerto puedes ir al sur a las Playas igual a 60 minutos pero realmente no se siente la espera tan larga, el hotel muy básico , desayuno igual panes jamón, queso café algunas frutas,las terminales de autobús hacia el aeropuerto como a 10 minutos caminando, el personal amable hay un supermercado como a 7 minutos y un pub muy rico a 10 minutos, recomendable si necesitas ahorrar para mejor gastar en Londres

Affordable room near Horley pubs and train station. The room was very small and warm. Opened the window and bees flew in while I was sleeping. Got stung twice. Should consider puting in a screen. Staff varied from good customer service to no availability. The airport shuttle is hit and miss.
