Horseshoe Bay is an amazing community located in the Texas Hill Country. Lake LBJ is a constant level lake. Horseshoe Bay is located 1 hour from Austin, 2.5 hours from Houston and 3 hours from Dallas. There are over 8 golf courses within 15 miles. Fredericksburg and all the hill country vineyards are within an hour drive of the property. Marble Falls is 15 minutes away and has several great restaurants and shopping.

Wonderful and peaceful

My family and I have a wonderful time at this property. We took our boat and enjoyed having it docked right outside the patio door. The owners recommended trailer parking for us and it was very close and safe. We checked on the trailer about every other day and it was safe and secure which was one less worry I had to think about! The canal the condo was on was very quiet and peaceful. My son loved fishing off the canal each evening. He caught an 8 pound bass the second night we were there. He was so happy!! The condo itself was beautiful. I loved the open floor plan and that I could still converse with the family and our guests as I was cooking in the kitchen. The kids could eat breakfast at the bar which was very efficient. The kitchen had all the things I needed to be able to prepare meals for the family. I liked the washer and dryer in the unit as well. I was able to do laundry while we were out during the day. The loft area worked perfect for our family. I have a teenager and a seven year old. The days of one queen bed no longer work for our family, so the two full beds were amazing for the kids. They each had their own bed and space to put all their belongings! My husband and I enjoyed the king bed and large walking shower in the master bathroom. There was plenty of space throughout the entire condo! We brought our bikes as well and they were easily accessible in the porch area of the condo. We will definitely be back!

Very comfortable

The unit is clean and fully stocked with toiletries, kitchen essentials and laundry detergent which was very nice. Hosts respond super fast and were very accommodating. The only con would be that we didn’t know that the second upstairs bedroom is a loft. You cannot see anything from downstairs, but there is no door. I was there with a co worker and she agreed to take that room and was happy with it, but better to know ahead of time to avoid awkward conversations. The unit is walking distance to the horseshoe bay resort area which was nice to have restaurant options.
