This guest has never stayed with us. We had a booking by someone by this name with no payment for a same-day booking. Per our policy, we require the first night's deposit. We cancelled it immediately and heard nothing from the guest. Typically if a guest truly wants to stay with us, they call the moment they get the cancellation email. This guest did not, so we assumed he did not want this reservation. We don't hold rooms without payment unfortunately, so perhaps that was the hope. Anyhow, a quick call to us would have remedied it. Book directly with a property and the reservation would not have gone through without payment.
