  • Experience the Appalachian mountains like never m before with this wonderful 1 bedroom and 1 bath cabin on the French Broad River and 1 miles from Hot Springs city limits. This Romantic cabin is perfect for any couple with its antique decor as well as an efficiency kitchen. The smart TV and WIFI will give you access to all of your favorite shows or the wrap around deck is peaceful enough just to sit and watch the river go by either in the rocking chairs just watching the river go by. The Cabin is situated right on the picturesque French Broad River you have private access for grilling by the river, relaxing or even fishing! The local hiking trails are numerous like lover's leap and fishing are fun and relaxing ways to spend the weekend. Also the Hot Springs spa is just minutes away and open for appointments for natural hot mineral water.
    The Biltmore estate is about a hour drive from the property!
    Asheville and gatlenburg are both about a hour away from the property in either direction.
    The road in front of the cabin is perfect for bicycles and peaceful walks.

Highly recommend this cabin. We really enjoyed our trip. It is close to town. Have already told family that they need to book this place.

I’d give this cabin 10 stars if I could! We absolutely loved our stay and how close to everything we were. The town is amazing! We will definitely be booking again in the future, along with referring friends to this property.

Great place in Hot Springs

The property is very centrally located -- just 2 miles to Hot Springs, and easy access to lots of other cool things to do (including Asheville). The property manager was very responsive and the place had all the things you would need to make your stay a good one.

Perfect for a couple getaway

What a beautiful area . The place was simple and perfect for us. Hot tub was nice. Views were great and close to town. I recommend for a weekend anytime . The host was very nice also

Quiet with beautiful surroundings. Note, bedroom is upstairs and bathroom downstairs (for any with knee issues). Easy drive to Hot Springs soak!

Loved it! Very cozy!

We really enjoyed staying at this cute and cozy cabin. It was a really nice get away weekend with my husband to just relax. It was less than a five minute drive to the hot springs natural hot tubs and the iron horse. I would highly recommend staying here and hope we are able to again soon! 😀

Weekend get away

Absolutely beautiful property right on the river. Great communication with the owners. Close to town. The cabin had everything we needed. Loved the rustic theme to the decorations! Hot tub was awesome as well. We will definitely be back!

Great place

Enjoyed the location and cabin. It was nice and cozy. The only complaint was the bathroom stayed cold. It could you a small heater in there for Nov- winter months. Otherwise we loved it. Nice Romantic getaway! We will return again soon!

Great getaway

I was solo and only had a couple of days to relax. I booked this place on the spur of the moment. It was wonderful.Peace and quiet, solitude, beautiful scenery and a relaxing hot tub to soak in. I highly recommend this place. I will definitely be back when I have more time.

Relaxing Cabin

We had a nice week long stay at the cabin. My girlfriend was taking some specialized massage training in Hot Springs. Since I work from home, I brought my computer and worked from the cabin. No problems connecting to my work through the internet. We were very happy with the accomodations.

A romantic get away to the country

I can’t say enough good things about my visit to the cabin. My girlfriend and I were looking to get away and unplug from society, the cabin was the perfect place. The cabin sits by itself with a beautiful view of the French Broad River from the hot tub . Being there reminds me of times when life was simpler. If you’re a microwave type person, this piece of heaven isn’t for you! Thank you Doris and family!!

French Broad Experience

This property cozy and clean. However, there was an issue with the plumbing. It was very sluggish and the commode overflowed. BTW, the owner said they had had previous problems with the commode. We called the owner and were told no plumber could come on a Sunday so we would need to check out. We were booked for a 4 night stay. not 1 night. We do not feel like it was handled properly that we got charged an exorbitant amount for a one night stay which was only around 15 hours. So, we hauled everything out to the car and was forced to leave. We offered to help with fixing the plumbing since husband had experience with those kind of issues but owner didn't seem to want it to happen. An hour away could've gotten the item needed for the fix but owner claimed gas was too high to drive an hour. BTW, the window downstairs was not able to be secured so our safety WAS in jeopardy. The lock did not work.

The property was more then we expected. We not only met Dorris that first day, we also needed some help with our phone connection. Lucas, Dorris's grandson came by and walked me through the process. The next day, we had some questions about the about the hot tub. Dorris's granddaughter came by to answer our questions later that same day. I can't express how happy we were with the entire experience. I would sum it up by saying that we experienced some good southern hospitality! '
