“Comfortable cottage, but with short stairs from bedroom to washroom for those with mobility issues. We enjoyed the peaceful ocean setting with wonderful views and wildlife discoveries. Kitchen is well equipped. Michelle was there to greet us and explain what we needed to know.”

“Beautiful place to stay. Very well maintained and everything working. Clean and comfortable with all the amenities and friendly hosts with good recommendations and quick to respond to questions. Watching the seals breakfast in the mornings was a bonus.”

“We had a wonderful stay at Wayne’s harbour view property. The entire place was super clean, comfortable and very well stocked. Fresh flowers and coffee were also nice extras. The harbour view from the deck was spectacular and location was great for walking to restaurants and shopping.”

“What a gem! Calm water, crabs everywhere, porpoises out the window. It is a classic Canadian cabin, just like in lake country, except without the mosquitoes but with salmon right outside. We managed to get there in a small open boat (our big one was out of commission) by doing a deal with nearby April Pt Marina.”

“We thoroughly enjoyed our 3 day stay at this VRBO. The kitchen amenities were so fully inclusive that we usually ate supper meals here rather than dine out. The hot tub was a nightly must and driving either into town or out to hiking locations was super easy. This is a great destination spot for people, like us, wanting to get to know the Campbell River area.”

“Adorable heritage cottage that has family pride all over it! The cabin is quaint, cute and very well appointed with all that is needed for a home away from home. The care that goes into this older cabin is obvious. We were very comfortable and had complete privacy during our stay. Loved it and would certain recommend AND book again. “The property is lovely, the house top-notch with very comfy accoms for 2 couples +2 singles, and the kitchen fully stocked with all the mod cons (very picky detail: no hand mixer for making whipped cream, from a woman who travels with her own knives :P ). There are lots of activities in the near area and shops closeby. We booked for a restful christmas and were able to make a feast for 6 without issue, did some lovely (rainy and windy) walks, and enjoyed the wildlife. On the downside, we...

“The rooms were large and clean. There are no ground floor rooms. Floor one is actually ustairs. There is very limited parking for large vehicles and limited nearby dining, although the room has a fully furnished kitchen which was great for us. The facility is dog friendly with use of an adjacent vacant lot. There is a walking trail along the beach but you must cross a busy two lane street to access it. ”

“Overall the area is obviously stunning and beautiful, so that’s the main reason to stay there. It’s calm, quiet and a great place to unwind. The lodges themselves are a little rustic and basic, but they are fine. The service was super friendly and helpful. Was truly disappointed in the restaurant. The prices were expensive and for $45 I would have expected the seafood pasta to have fresh local seafood (after all…it’s located on the ocean) but the frozen seafood which barely had any meat to it...
