“You have everything you need in this cabin. The only negative is the huge rock wall in the backyard. I understand there were issues with water washing away the beaches, but I was assuming there would some small beach area. There is no lake access here. The wind is strong and chilly coming off Lake Huron.”

“This cabin was SO CLEAN and cozy! It smelled so nice when we walked in, there wasn’t a speck of dust anywhere, the beds and couches were super comfy, and the sheets were the softest sheets I’ve ever slept on. They had everything we needed and even had shower stuff if you forgot yours. Ive already recommended this cabin to a few people and we just got home lol. I will be coming back!”

“We came up to explore the Lake Huron side of the state, and this location was perfect. Some days we went south, and some north, and everything was within 30-40 minutes. The home is very clean, and well supplied. We particularly appreciated the coffee supplies, washer and dryer and being allowed to bring our greyhounds. The only negative was road noise, but once I found the white noise maker and plugged it in, and found a setting we liked, we didn't notice the road noise as much. Our first night...

“The location was perfect, it was just a short walk to the nearest beach. The cottage sat back off the road far enough which gave us all the shade and privacy we wanted. The few times I messaged the host , he responded very quickly! Awesome stay, I totally recommend and plan on returning.”

“We had a pleasant experience. The only problem was when we moved a fire pit closer to our cabin because the are was vacant (5 fire pits only 8 cabins, which needs to be addressed). The man who checks on the property came over and stated he drove by to talk to us earlier, but we were not at the cabin, which (a) seems like stalking and (b) his tone and the way he was leering at my daughter in law were not appreciated. If we stay next year my son and I may just kick his ass....we were tempted to...

“The cabin was great and very close to Tawas Point State Park. Everything was very clean. However, apparently May is they're preseason so there was little if any housekeeping. We had to make and strip the bed, were expected to wipe down bathrooms, sweep floors, etc. Not a big deal but there's always the threat that extra charges might be added.”
