“The house was beautiful with wonderful sea views and very well kept and homely. Quality room. Location was mixed as very close to the blowhole attraction, one small Beach with coral and over longer bay with quiet waves; however it's a long way from a supermarket, bus stop or restaurant and up some rocky steps uphill which was difficult for my partner who was using crutches. We enjoyed the food cooked by our host who was lovely but did not speak great English, and so there was confusion over...

Contro: camera tripla vuol dire letto matrimoniale king size da 180cm e non 3 letti Contro: pulizia della camera solo su richiesta al 4 gg l abbiamo sollecitata come il cambio di asciugamani. “Very nice hosts, super service minded! The house is close to the Dickwella beach, on the opposite side of the main road. 2 miles away is the awesome surf beach Hirikitya. Our room was spacious with a large new bathroom and efficient AC. If you like Sri Lankan food, ask to swap the continental breakfast to Sri Lankan! The house can be a bit tricky to find, look for a sign after the ATM.”

“Very nice and very quiet chalet on a deserted beach. The location is literally on the beach. Ideal if you want tranquility. Just the sound of the waves! Our host was excellent and helped us with information we needed. There is a good restaurant next door and the Waves will provide good dinners at reasonable cost if you give them warning (as everything is freshly cooked). ”

“Bodde här 3 nätter. Fantastiskt hotell med trevlig personal och bra service. Bra saltvatten pooler som sköttes utmärkt av personalen. Bra utbud av olika spa behandlingar. Rekommenderas varmt. Bra restaurang, bra service och trevlig personal. Stranden helt underbar. Ej barnvänlig för er som reser med barn då det blev djupt snabbt. Vi hade några helt fantastiska dagar här.”

“This was one of our favorite places during our trip to Sri Lanka. The rooms are huge, very clean and everything seems really new. The owner is very nice and helpful and the breakfast is great with a great view of the lagoon. If you like birds we saw both eagles and peacocks during our stay here. You are around a 5 min walk from the beach and besides the restaurant on the property there are some good restaurants around.”

“Enthusiastic and attentive staff with a wonderful area directly on the sand with individual bungalows for hammocks I lovely safe swimming area just a little down and in all respects somewhere I would be in a hurry to go back to.”

"Hotellet är inte så som det ser ut på bilder. Det är nedgånget och slitet. Det var fullt med insikter på rummet, kröp myror i sängen. Vi sa till och önskade ett nytt rum eller pengarna tillbaka. Kollade på ett nytt rum och där var det kackerlackor i badrummet. Vi checkade ut efter första natten av tre bokade, fick ingen återbetalning. Poolen är ok men solsängarna är slitna och det finns ingen dyna att ligga på. Det står skyltar överallt om att hotellet inte ansvarar för stöld av värdesaker vid städning av rummet, de ansvarar ej för missfärgning av kläder som lämnats till tvätt, du ska betala om något går sönder etc. Bara väldigt speciellt och kändes väldigt otryggt. "
