My family just wanted to get away and this place offered everything that we needed. It was clean, private, and the owner was very responsive. The view was amazing off the deck and the home was gorgeous. Would definitely stay again!

Great Family Trip

This is our third time staying at this property. Its a great location for fishing and relaxing. Kitchen is fully stocked with appliances and there are plenty of games to play. Will definitely stay again!

Rio Villa stay

Wonderful time with our Family. House was clean, stocked with everything we needed. Beds were comfortable. Guys caught fish off the dock and we hung in the pool quite a bit. Very comfortable house for 7 people.

Great waterfront get away!

We stayed here for my boyfriend’s 35th birthday and spent the weekend hanging in the pool and fishing. They have golf courses nearby that the guys loved going to during the day. House was easy to find, check in was easy & the house was beautiful! We had a group of 7 adults and there was plenty of room for everyone. Already wanting to plan our next trip here.

Enjoyed our stay!

Perfect for our family of 8 adults and 2 children. Comfortable home, lots of open space with great lighting and great views. Right on the river with a great view and lots of outdoor seating. Pool and deck were also a plus. Away from the business of Houston but close enough (30 min) to go explore.

Nice long weekend on the water

This house has every appliance you can imagine, everything was in nice working conditions. It was clean and spacious. plenty of towels and blankets. Everyone fishes and crabbed right off the dock. Weekend was a little busier with water traffic but Monday and Tuesday water was quiet and fish were biting.

Relaxing River Home

Great spot for a family vacation, but need all the wasps/hornet nests taken care of. We had a 2 year old and he couldn't use the playground or go near the firepit at all.

Peaceful getaway

I have 5 siblings. We Got together to have a reunion and make great memories. We were able to fish from the back dock, enjoy the pool and just unplug from our technical world. The place was comfortable and clean. The dual grill which had gas and charcoal option was great. Only complaint is the amount of bugs, but i think that's what comes with the water front home. We will be back!

Location and Property is so good

Property is so nice and location is beautiful and calm. Only negative I saw was with the pool as its not heated, and water is not circulating. But apart from that the property is awesome for a relaxed vacation

Amazing Waterfront Getaway

We rented this property as a family getaway! We couldn’t have been more pleased! The property was amazing! We caught catfish and crabs right off the dock and spent most of our time hanging out poolside enjoying the amazing views! The property manager was easy to reach and was extremely nice! We are already looking into renting the property again soon!

Quick get away

The neighborhood was quiet, the house is one of the most recent remodels in the area, with a ton of square footage, 4 bedrooms, 2 full baths, and a 1/2 bath. The front door took a while to master but eventually we figured it out. The view of the lake was amazing with the majority of the kitchen/dining/living room surrounded by windows. The afternoon sun shining through made it difficult to see the t.v. or sit on half of the house because it shone right in your face. The outside deck made fishing super easy and the pool was refreshing during the hot days. The lights were a nice touch if you wanted to swim or sit out after dark. It took us a minute but we figured out how to turn on the filter for the pool, it didn't look like it had been running as the pool had a lot of hair in it when we got there. The house seemed clean but the cleaning crew forgot to freshen up the refrigerator; it had food and debris stuck to each of the shelves. There's a water machine for bottled water next to the fridge, but it was empty. We found more water bottles in the hall but they were empty as well. There wasn't a welcome basket, note, complimentary coffee or anything left at the house for us when we arrived, which was disappointing.

Beautiful staycation

It is a real nice property, exactly as previewed on the vrbo app. It is a very beautiful home, very clean, very spacious and had everything available that we needed during our stay. It was my 9 year old birthday and he enjoyed his self so much he played in the pool, fished, and did s'mores around the fire pit. My almost 2 year old loved the play area outside. It is a great place to stay for all ages. It has several seating areas outside that you can have a beautiful view of the lake. Also it was a nice seeing everyone pass by on their boats and jet ski's. We would definitely come back!

Pros with some Cons

Barely any kitchenware to took with. You would expect a fuller kitchen with how big the house is. Grill outside is dirty, inexperienced grillers could start a grease fire. Wasp nest under outside furniture, and many spiders.

Such a great experience!

The place was clean, and exactly as advertised and we will definitely choose this place again. There was nothing wrong with the place, but just note that if you are bringing a dog and want them to easily get in and out of the water, there isn't really a good place for that (unless its higher tide in the mornings). 5 stars from our group!

Wonderful

From the moment we pulled up to the house we were happy this is a very very nice house super comfortable, clean, very modern and spacious , right on the water , the boys enjoyed fishing and swimming and we enjoyed the nice deck overlooking the river doing some grilling and playing table games, the owners were great at communicating , it was an amazing weekend, can’t wait to go back!
