Our Designer house is inspired by some of our favorite designers. Featuring 4 bedrooms/ 2 bath. Washer/Dryer, Fully stocked kitchen, 2 car garage, Wi-Fi, two smart TV’s, keyless entry for self check in/out.

Sleeps 14 comfortably w 2 additional twin air mattress and a sofa bed in living room.

My overall impression was that our stay could have been more comfortable. The pictures made the house look good but once we got there it was a different story. We did not know that the house was for younger people because the listing did not say so. The house is not older people friendly. Stepping into the was challenging. The furniture was too small, very uncomfortable. The seating at the table was like trying to climb a tree. The beds were uncomfortable, no mattresses, who knew!!! Not from the listing!!! The showers were not accessible for older people. NOT HANDICAP FRIENDLY!!!! We can not RECCOMEND this house to anyone!!! Young or senior!!!! Since the listing was not close to being accurate we will not TRUST Vrbo and we will not use them AGAIN!!!!

Beautiful neighborhood and house. The house is smaller than how it looks in pictures. That’s what i noticed first. Secondly everything in the house felt very put together. The bed frame in one of the rooms was leaning completely over. The shower water did not get hot at all in neither shower. When you turned the water on in the shower it felt like the shower would cave in on you. The beds were also very hard and springy. You can physically feel the springs. The house was also very hot and we couldn’t control the air because they had the ac locked. We also had lots of big flys inside when we first got there. The garage didn’t work we had to manually lift it. The bathroom floor in the masters the wood was broke in half. The bnb overall just seemed very dingy and put together. Definitely not worth what was paid for. The nicest part was the location. We also ended up being charged extra due to “smoking in the property” which never occurred. Stated paraphernalia was left… we left raw comb papers unopened completely sealed !! On the ottoman. This resulted in additional fees. Wouldn’t recommend the property for anyone.

Pros: Kitchen is roomy and big enough to cook a big meal. Fenced backyard was great for the kids. Smart Tvs worked great. The Queen bed and the twin beds were comfortable. The toilets are both handicap height. The house felt safe. We picked this house become it was big enough for 3 generations to stay together and was minutes from our in laws home. Good home base - 45 minutes to Houston Zoo and 45 minutes to Galveston. Great local restaurants within 5 minutes. Cons: Living room furniture is eclectic and fun but not comfortable. Some areas in the house seem "unfinished" such as where the bathtub meets the floor is not sealed. The throw pillows on the beds and in the living room are dingy and obviously not washed between rentals. The dryer has a sign it isn't working. A message letting us know we could not do laundry would have been nice. The king bed isnt comfortable. The members of our group who were in that room left a day early. They said, "we just cant sleep in there one more night." The beds have plastic mattress covers under the sheet. With the humidity, the sheets get damp between your body and the plastic. The place wasnt dirty yet it was a long way from spotless.

Great La Porte Rental

We had a very positive experience with this rental property. The house was clean and well-maintained, which made for a comfortable and enjoyable stay. Questions or concerns were addressed promptly, ensuring a smooth and hassle-free stay.
