Thanks for your review Steve & pleased you were 'wowed' by the outside spaces at the villa, very important in a tropical climate. Because we live here when we don't have guests staying, many have told us & most appreciate that the house is furnished & cared for better than many holiday lets, therefore we are left a little perplexed that you would probably not have booked had you known we stayed here, why we wonder. Most of the quality Villas in Hua Hin are situated 6/12 kilometers from the centre, ours is 6 kilometers about a 15 minute drive, and we of course put all this information in our advert so customers know exactly what to expect. The upside is we are in a very tranqil enviroment, but only a short distance into town. Hope you enjoyed your time in Bangkok.

Sorry our villa did not quite live up to your expectations & we will try to address your comments. Equipment in and around the villa does get used of course and we always ensure its in good working order, but regrettably it can't be new for every guest. We checked the dishwasher twice when you reported it was not working, and on both occasions it worked for us, however after your departure we did find it was malfunctioning and had a new one installed in time for our next guests. The washing machine is only 2 years old & is working just fine, as are the bed & outside sun bed mattresses, no broken springs, tears etc. so not quite sure what your problem was here, however no mentioned was made during your stay. All the bathrooms were re tiled with new sanitary ware 3 years ago, and our past guests have only had positive things to say about them, however if they are not done to your taste, that we can understand, but there condition is good. Maid, pool cleaning & gardening services were provided for you 3 times each week, and again no mention was made at the time of any dirt problem around the pool area or dissatisfaction with the cleaning both inside the villa & on the terraces, and had there been we would have taken action straightaway to rectify it. When you reported a strong unpleasant odour coming from one of the bathrooms we came to investigate, but could not smell anything ourselves. It was only on the 7th.day when we visited again & you happened to be in that you said the smell only happened when the shower had been on for a few minutes, so we tested it & yes there was a strong smell. We immediately had the pipes flushed through, which solved the problem. Again had you told us that the smell only occurred after the shower had been on a while, we could have rectified matters earlier. You either enjoy animal company or not, but the vast majority of our guests love having Tigger & Jitters around & they are a very effective rodent control. The other side of that is of course they will sometimes bring there catch back to one of the terraces, but its impossible to control their natural instinct. You were to leave money for the broken glasses in the villa, you didn't so we had to deduct a very small amount from your breakage deposit. The many glasses in the villa are normal standard quality, & I doubt you will find cut crystal in any rental villas, however had there been you would have been looking at considerably more deduction.
