“The AC unit close to the bed makes a lot of noise. Otherwise a fine hotel. No gym, simple but fully adequate breakfast. Small pool, but right next door to Salty Pirate and within walking distance of the beach. Nice neighborhood!”

“My stay at the Holiday Inn express was very enjoyable. Something that I do believe could be a nice upgrade would be a better grade of toilet tissue. I was a little surprised because a one ply tissue that is very scratchy is not so comfortable. I did find that the toilet flushing system was a bit strange, I had to flush the toilet three times per visit to the bathroom just to get the toilet tissue to go down. “We had a great stay! It was nice to be close to the beach, although, everything else is a bit of a drive. Just be sure to get all of the groceries you need on the way in so you don't have to run back and forth to the store. Food Lion is about 15 min drive and Walmart a little further. They do have a nicely stocked kitchen and the neighborhood is peaceful there at the end of the island, which makes up for the fact that restaurants are a bit limited nearby, too. “Checking in clerk was wonderful & very helpful ....Checking out which was different clerk it took clerk bout 5m to comd forward & wen she did never acknowledge or was polite just rushed me off like i was bothering her...otherwise our stay was great...maybe add cabana & chaors facing beach to watch sunset or enjoy waves”
