Hotell med pool i Hudson

“I'm house-hunting in Hudson, so my wife and I have stayed in a few other hotels and B&Bs there. However, one night in Pocketbook and I'll definitely continue booking there. I don't understand the complaints about the noise or rude staff, becauee we experienced the exact opposite. The staff were warm & welcoming, and very friendly. Overnight, it was peaceful and quiet. “Room was spacious and clean. The lobby and common areas were also spacious and comfortable. All the seating areas in the lobby with the sun coming in was a nice place to spend a few minutes in the morning. Breakfast was good, enough to get us through the day. We didn’t have time to use the amenities, but they looked nice. Overall, would definitely recommend a stay there.”

“Steven’s House (a Red Lion Annex across the street) is very “tired”. Exterior has severe wear with peeling paint and unkempt yard. Interior is much the same with wallpaper peeling in bathroom, a broken ice machine in the common area. The cleanliness is below expected for the price paid ( same as main hotel). Wooden railing to second floor is not really ideal with splinter potential from rough surfaces. Overgrown bushes as you exit dirt parking area are a terrible hazard as you cannot see...
