  • Whether it’s a hot coffee enjoyed by the wood stove, watching the sunrise with your feet kicked up on the deck, spending time with family & friends playing cards and board games or a day spent out riding the trails our Bunkhouse is the perfect location for your next adventure! Located on a private 75 acres directly on the snowmobile trail, 1.2mi from downtown Hulbert and totally secluded from neighbors and road traffic set back into the woods you’ll find your peace. The large garage with rubber matted floors, heat & shop/tools will make any power sports enthusiast smile ear to ear (fits roughly 8 snowmobiles). Hulbert is a main hub for snowmobile/ATV trails and you can travel anywhere in the UP on these trails. Full kitchen with everything you need.

    The garage “The Sled Shed” is fully equipped with the tools you might need after a long day of riding. Electric mini-split heater can be used to thaw out machines to get them ready for the next day out on the trails. Can fit roughly 8 sleds in the garage, no dollys needed as the entire floor is covered in thick rubber mats. Hangout area with sofas. Smoking is allowed in the barn (ozone generator used to eliminate odor).

The cabin was clean, cozy and very comfortable. Alex was there when we checked in and out. He let us know where the best trails were. He also let us use his sled shed, which was amazing since the weather outside would have have cold to work on our snowmobiles! He even let us use his tools! It had all the amenities that you would need, towels, dishwasher, tv, etc. We will definitely be going back there. It was perfect and spacious for us!!

Awesome cabin

We had so much fun at the cabin. Plenty of beds up sleep in and tons of amenities to use. Plus it was conveniently located between things we had planned to do.

Whatever the reason for your visit to the UP, this is the place to stay! Alex (the owner) is over the top as a host! We stayed for a snowmobiling trip and he had the house open and the wood stove stoked for a warm arrival. When we had a sled break down, he was super helpful with providing additional options. He stopped by to make sure we were happy with the accommodations and that our trip was enjoyable. The house is located right on the trail so no need to look for the trailhead! Highly recommend this place! The location could not be better, the house is perfect for your group, and the host could not be more accommodating!! Thanks so much Alex!!

Snowmobiling friends weekend

Thamk you Alex and family we had a great time close to the trails and accommodated all of us just fine. The garage perk was great to be able to park our sleds in overnight and just drive out to the trails.

Great location

Our family enjoyed several local attractions. We went to Oswald's bear ranch, Whitefish point and Tahquamenon falls. This was the perfect location for all 3. The property was very accommodating with everything provided incase we forgot or needed anything.

Great location

The cabin was clean, having the use of the garage was so nice and close to snowmobile trails. Alex the owner was very helpful in suggesting things to go see and places to go. I would highly recommend and will be coming back again.

This property was a great place to stay. Remote enough to have quiet relaxation but not too far of a drive. The star gazing is excellent and we saw a deer in the yard each morning. The owners were very nice and helpful. We will return to this little gem.

Great experience

We stayed here for a snowmobiling trip. The host is very easy to get ahold and willing to help with anything. The garage space and tools available is a awesome bonus.

July 4th holiday

We had a very good time. There were 8 of, kids and adult. Plenty of room for sleeping and having the kids play. So quiet and peaceful. Very restful.

Beautiful Vacation

Spent six days on this beautiful property. Cabin is exactly as described, very clean. Beautiful skies at night, can see so many stars. It’s right in the middle of so many attractions that it made it very convenient for us to try a new place every day. The property owners are awesome and, accommodated us whenever we asked. We will be returning for another vacation!

Stay at the Cabin

The property was clean and comfortable. Our young adult and teen grandchildren enjoyed the game system and WiFi. The living area was comfortable and the kitchen was well equipped. We had plenty of room.
