Nice hotel
This was a nice hotel, the rooms were nice and clean and the restaurant was good (starbucks). Nice breakfast, and good service

Lovely staff, clean and tidy room with all the essentials. Shampoo lovely. Breakfast good and bacon was particularly nice apparently Breakfast waiters were very attentive and catered for a large group of us sitting together

Fabulous Hotel for Short Stays
Excellent hotel for short stays, we were visiting family, friendly and helpful staff. Rooms clean, spacious and comfortable. Tasty and generous portions food options, catering to all tastes. Value for money.

Dear GuestThank you for your feedback, my apologies for any inconvenience on Sunday morning. Due to a breakdown our hot water supply was disrupted for approximately three and a half hours during which we were working hard to fix the problem and restore the supply. I would like to assure you that we understand the inconvenience and are taking steps to ensure this will not happen again. I have tried to contact you directly by phone to discuss this situation with you and hope to catch up with you later in the day. I do hope that you will choose to stay with us again, should you travel to the area in the future.

Breakfast buffet was not kept topped up/refreshed on a regular basis - had to wait some time for some of the hot items. Scrambled egg was cold.

The foreign receptionist spoke English well but failed to understand my questioning of why on two days the cleaner put the lights on in my room and left them on when whilst on booking in it was stated they were trying to save electricity hence the spare card for the electricity. Also I didn't get a clean large towel but four hand towels which she thought was alright. strange I gave up after that and didnt mention the cleaning

Lovely place
Lovely hotel, we had a view of the race course with the little lake in the middle and the sun setting over it which was lovely. The room was clean, double bed was comfy, the sofa bed not so but the kids had that and they will sleep on practically anything so not a huge problem. Wouldn't be suitable for adults. Free car park, no need to give your details in. Breakfast was great, totally worth it! Needed a safety pin for my dress and they had a little spare sewing kit. The floor at the end of our bed was very creaky but not a huge problem. In general very quiet and would definitely stay again if we were in the area

Not brilliant.
The first room I was given had a loo that didn't flush properly. second room was OK, but had obviously not been used for ages and took a day for the smell to dissipate.

Staff were amazing. Breakfast was really good. Vairety of foods available. Room wasnt very clean and lots of bugs in the room.

Pleasant stay
Could not fault the hotel. Clean and comfy, very quiet setting overlooking the race course. Did not eat here as meeting up with friends at their home so cannot comment.

Clean, polite but dangerous sofa bed!!!!
Staff polite and friendly. Room very clean. Too hot, couldn’t open a window or door. Fan useless. Bed like concrete. Sofa bed DANGEROUS!! Mattress too small exposing metal and my son kept falling down and hurting himself on sharp components. We had to wedge our pillows to stop this happening. So we slept with no pillows. Will not be staying again.

It was ok
The food was just so so. Rooms have small fridge but NO MICROWAVE. They also have no cream or 1/2 and 1/2 for coffee!! Our key did not work to get into the gym.

Comfortable, clean and super staff. One glitch in one of our rooms in that the key card kept malfunctioning but it was easily remedied.

Overall good
Overall the hotel was really good very clean and the quality of the food was good The only issue we had was there was a smell of sewage in the bathroom and the shower waste was blocked causing the tray to overflow This was reported to reception who said it had been like it for a month and they were waiting for a plumber This was a real shame because everything else was really good and I would not hesitate to return
