âUnfortunately it was very thin walls, you can hear other guests talking and walking but everyone tried to take concern. Would have loved a better lamp for reading in the room. You have to share bathroom with several other guests, but I guess that is one reason why the price is lower than in most places. Nice with the garden and that it is a bit away from traffic, still only about 15 min walk to Chalice Well and to the town centre.â
âLovely stay . Rooms ample size , reception staff and bar staff very friendly and helpful, evening entertainment was great . Very close to the beach and pier and shops .Only downside was the noise from traffic if your room is on the front of hotel as no double glazing as its an old building, otherwise perfect. â
âI stay at the Glendale regularly to visit my daughter and granddaughter who live nearby. It is a lovely hotel above an Italian restaurant with very convenient access to Penarth train station with regular trains into nearby Cardiff.
It has both single and double size rooms and I usually choose a single. The rooms are well appointed with rather basic shower facilities, tea & coffee etc. a very nice full cooked English breakfast is available (extra) and of course there is the very convenient...

âThis is an excellent affordable option if you want to visit the holy sites in Glastonbury on a budget. It's a 45 minute walk over Wyrryl hill to the Tor and Wells. There is decent shopping close and a bus you can get to Wells. The bed is comfortable and the rooms have very good facilities ifr making tea and coffee. The water is hot and it has reliable WFI. The staff is friendly. I will stay there again for sure if I'm in the area. â
