Moar Cottages are great value for money and were so much better than expected. We had cabin 1 and it had enough room to comfortably sleep 5 adults. It was warm and clean. There was a dining area, sofa, fully equipped kitchen with coffee machine and coffee, toaster, hob and all equipment. The shower was hot and towels and handwash and shampoo were supplied. Could not fault it. Would highly recommend it if you’re hiring a car to explore. 5 Stars.

Simple and cosy
Perfect for us. So long as you are okay with simple this place is perfect. It could be a tiny bit cleaner but I’m being really fussy. It has everything you need. Wish we could have seen it in the daylight. Definitely need a car, which we knew and had. Was a good base to do the golden circle

Amazing plcase, all you need. Very spacious, cosy and warm place. I have no idea why is it rated so low??? We have stayed in house number 2.

Love the cottages!
We had a wonderful stay! The cottages are beautiful--very warm, charming and comfy. We only stayed a night, but wished we could have stayed longer. The communication with our hosts was great--we didn't meet them in person, but the check-in info and key code entry worked great. The town of Akranes is 3 minutes away and we had a nice dinner at a Middle Eastern restaurant and refueled the car. Would definitely recommend and would love to return.

La camera era gradevole, non essendoci una reception o un referente in loco non abbiamo potuto caricare l’auto elettrica, anche a pagamento, non era specificato l’iter da fare per il rifornimento.

Cozy cottage
Cozy cottage. We had everything we needed. A bit too hot in the room upon arrival but easy to adjust. I did not enjoy having to make my own beds upon arrival though....

Super pour une famille de 4. Très propre et pratique. Un peu loin des commodités mais pas trop. Les enfants ont joué au soccer avec le chien:)

Good cottage. Need better communication.
Nice cottage. Clean. Well stocked with cooking utensils. Didnt get the "welcome email" that has the instruction to get the keys. Had to call owner a couple times. Gudlaug bath nearby is awesome.

Washed sheets and duvets folded and stacked in corner. Tough after a hard drive to make your own beds late at night. Otherwise a cute cottage at a reasonable price.

Small but did the job
Nice little cottage which matches quite well with description. Cottage is a little dated in its look and feel. It is probably due for a new paint job but interior was fine for the two of us for just one night. Communication was flawless.
