“Easy parking near to the hotel”

“Room was clean, we stayed in the lodge, so could park the car directly outside our room. Very dog friendly hotel, bar has a good selection of beers and wines,food was excellent. Staff were really helpful and friendly. Would thoroughly recommend this hotel and would definitely stay here again. ”

“The hosts are helpful and friendly. The room was very comfortable, with a great view, and a private bathroom close by. There was a kettle in the room, with tea, coffee, fresh milk and drinking water. The dining room is quite grand, with another excellent view. We could help ourselves to fruit, juice and yogurt, the bread had just been made, and the cooked part of the breakfast was also excellent. Parking is next to the house, well away from the road. We will be back if we stay in the area again.”

“booked a single room for two nights. I stayed in room number 100 and had a 90 bed set in a corner and a view from the window right into a wall. Nothing like the room I had booked on the website. There was a smell of mold in the room and urine in the toilet. I went down to reception after the first night to ask to change rooms and told about the smell. received a reply from the reception who spoke to the hotel manager who told me that the smell is due to the fact that they have just repainted the...

“We stayed in Room 2, The Ercall, it was beautifully decorated, impeccably clean and the views were amazing. Excellent attention to detail with good selection of hot beverages in te room. Taxi into Shrewsbury town was £10 and 15 - 20 minutes. The staff at the Riverside Inn are its greatest asset, polite, friendly, knowledgeable bout the local area, made time to chat and had everything you needed for a pleasant stay. ”
