A 4-star hotel trying to be a 5. Property is beautiful, peaceful, and scenic. Three things bothered me, we were unable to use two of the pools (rooftop and spa) because CHILDREN UNDER 10 ARE NOT ALLOWED! Had this been clear before booking, I would have gone elsewhere as these were the key selling points for our family. Even the staff was unaware of the rules which leads me to my other complaint. Staff was friendly but often not so helpful and often could not speak English.... normally I wouldn’t be so critical of these things however for the price of such a hotel, One doesn’t expect this. Lastly, the finishing on the brand new renovation looked nice overall but done poorly. Once had to push the bathtub so it didn’t fall through the cutout for example. Overall I felt a bit deceived from what I was paying for and certainly not getting the value considering the high cost of such a place.

I think the property is absolutely gorgeous. The staff pays great attention to details for a joyous experience. From the customer service representative, Concierge, violnist, dj, pool staff and housekeeping, everyone was superb. The only set back was the rooftop staffers. I waited almost 3 hours to be served dinner and never received my dessert. The hotel appeared to be short staffed but no one communicated with the guests. Such a disappointment as it was my anniversary. Everyone seemed to ignore me until it was time to leave. Now, the waitress approach me to sign the bill. Shameful. I wish she had that energy and not spoiled our evening. I requested to speak to a manager and never received a call. Otherwise, great hotel.

Was terrible. I made a reservation direct with the hotel and they accept it but next day they send me an email with cancelation so I did it through Expedia but at the time of registration they told me that I have to reservation. I showed them the email of theirs cancelation bit they did not accept, so they charged me twice.

Es ist ein schönes luxuriöses Hotel. Man wird direkt bei Ankunft vom service begrüßt und in Empfang genommen. Die Zimmer sind sauber und wie auf den Bildern, klein aber der Meer Ausblick aus dem Balkon lässt einem über die Größe hinweg gucken. Die Betten sind sehr gemütlich und man schläft sehr gut. Am Morgen wird man dann zum Frühstückstisch begleitet und es wird frisch gepresster Saft und Kaffee vorbei gebracht, dann kann man zum Buffet und sich aussuchen was man gerne möchte, es ist für jeden was dabei und sehr sehr lecker. Nun zum Alltag, man kann gut im Hotel bleiben, es gibt einen Strand sowie einen Pool und Hotel Restaurants, die Restaurants im Hotel sind aber sehr teuer, was für so ein Hotel Eig. auch völlig verständlich ist. Kommt darauf an was man möchte. In der Nähe, also fussläufig ca. 10-15 Minuten gibt es kleine Bistros, wo man günstig was zu essen bekommen kann. Zu der Location des Hotels: In der Nähe gibt es Bistros, kleine Bars/Kneipen, Souvenir Shops und einen Deutschen Arzt 24/7. Wir dachten wir kommen ohne Mietwagen zurecht, falsch gedacht. Wir haben uns um die Ecke gleich einen Mietwagen genommen, da zu unserer Zeit (Mai 22) Busse in der Nähe schwer zu kriegen waren. Ein Taxi für das hin und her hätte sich preislich nicht gelohnt. Parken im Hotel ist kostenlos. Fazit: Wir kommen mit dem Baby definitiv nochmal wieder. :-)

Lovely hotel & location,great room,but pretty poor service overall for a five star hotel. Room:Superb overall and very clean,but little things let it down to make it not feel 5 star.For >€500/night,everything should be perfect.It was a bit too design over substance.For example: -The Nespresso machine had generic non-Nespresso capsules that are cheap & poor quality. -The mini-bar's "Premium" drinks included Don Papa rum - the antithesis of premium & was €22. -Only one side of the bed had a bedside table. -The shower,whilst very nice,had a huge open window that anyone could see into from down below,so you have to pull a blind down,which destroys the image/look of the nice shower. -Several lights had auto-sensors to switch them on.But if you are getting up in the middle of the night,these lights wake up your partner & stay on for 5minutes or so. - A lack of draws in the room-4 small ones in total. Service:Very mixed. The reception/concierge were amazing. The breakfast staff varied from friendly & helpful to completely disinterested & surly.At all times were slow & often we asked for things & they did not arrive. Epic restaurant never had enough staff & was always very slow & tedious. Food:Not bad,but seriously overpriced & poor value.€206 for 2 burgers,2 bottles of house wine & 3 Baileys!Big issues with flies on uncovered food at breakfast buffet(€50 each)&bars ran out of several drinks. Overall, we won't go back.Too pretentious&the service is not good enough.Poor value!

Worst service which lets down a great location
Look, it's an OK Hotel and a lovely location but the services is awful and I don't expect to pay this nightly price and get terrible service. We waiting 20 mins at the pool for service then decided to leave, came back an hour later and tried again, only to have to walk to the bar for service. Food is awful and lacks any flavour. Cocktails are actually OK though. Our room had a rip in the sheets, and there was a noise that started every 5 mins for 20 seconds (we unplugged everything and it didn't go away)... we asked to move rooms and they said it would be 'difficult'... the next sleepless night, I had to march down to reception at an ungodly hour to demand another room so we could actually sleep... they eventually moved us two doors down (so why not move us before if the room was empty???)... The manager and I were then using whatsapp to communicate where I was told that she had done all she could but the reception staff who are responsible for the room allocations needed to sort it... not what I expect as a guest as what is supposed to be a real nice hotel. Other guests were also complaining over breakfast.... I would suggest booking OKU instead if you want a lovely time on vacation.
