âIt's hard to find a large hotel room to accommodate 5 people in Japan. The Mimaru was perfect. One of the largest rooms we've seen. Everyone had their own space and bed. The 2 toilets also made it really private and convenient. We ate at the restaurants around the hotel. The staff were extremely helpful with all of our questions. The gym, although small, provided all the equipment that we needed. The location was central to everything in Kyoto. We would definitely stay here again. â

A fifteen minute walk in various directions got us to exciting markets, or the train station, or high-end shops.
