If you prefer other cuisines you might opt for booking a room that doesn’t have food included. Staff is very friendly! We booked private onsen and that was also very nice. “熊の湯ホテルは3回目の宿泊です 建物は古いですが館内はとても清潔で綺麗です。 温泉源泉掛け流し　総檜造りのお風呂は天井が高く、檜のよい香りがしました。 露天風呂は透明な緑で内風呂は乳緑色でとても気持ちの良い温泉です。 そして夕食はもどれもとても美味しくて感激しました　とてもお勧めしたい宿です。”

“My friend had accidentally lost her backpack on the train just before we had arrived to the hotel for check in. As soon as we arrived at the hotel we asked to borrow their phone to call the lost in found center at the train station. After we explained the situation the hotel staff asked us what train we were on and what the backpack looked like and offered to call the station for us to help locate the backpack. “We were here for a couple of days and had a wonderful stay! The place is kept clean, and it sits right by the ski hill. Nothing beats a soak in the hot public bath after a day of skiing. Also loved the breakfast and dinner! The gem though was the staff, who were incredibly friendly and went out of the way to help us. ”
