With Humber Park nearby while also not too far from Idyllwild village, peace and relaxation are yours for the taking at Fox Cottage. The hosts were WONDERFUL! Stephany was so very helpful! Never been to Idyllwild! Beautiful, peaceful and friendly!! The cleanliness was so appreciated. No bugs! Great! But, apparently, you have Jehovah’s Witnesses coming to the door. Early morning. Just showing up unannounced. We were still in pajamas and packing to leave. Just wanted you to be aware.

Lovely little cottage

We enjoyed our stay at this lovely little cottage. There were nice little touches and holiday decorations inside that added to the cozy feeling. The area is quiet and the fenced in yard is great for our dogs.

Idyllic setting

The cottage was lovely and the furnishings were comfortable and attractive. The area is beautiful and we enjoyed our walks among the trees. We prepared our meals at the cottage and the kitchen is well appointed with a beautiful stove. The dishes are a charming pattern. It was a very relaxing stay at Fox Cottage.

A Quiet Stay in the Trees

My sister and I and our two dogs stayed here and had a really nice time. The home is very clean and nicely appointed. The neighborhood is quiet. We especially liked the large, fenced-in yard for our dogs. We would definitely recommend this place to others,

Very Cozy Cabin

We stayed here a couple of days for our Anniversary. Very nicely decorated and quiet location. The king size bed was very firm and comfortable. It was nice having a fenced in side yard for our dogs. Kitchen was updated and well appointed.

Perfect for a short break

We were in Idyllwild to pick up our child from the Arts Academy and wanted somewhere easy to stay with our other children and dog. The cottage was prefect for our needs. It’s a easy walk to the village and the fire pit was ideal for post dinner s’mores!

Big Place in a Small Space

Cabin was spotless upon arrival. Everything seemed to be new. We were impressed with the space utilization. Two bedrooms/two bath in a small footprint but we never felt crowded. Full size shower and three TVs are added bonuses. Front patio was a good place to chill with our dog and enjoy a cocktail. Cafe Aroma just 1/2 mile away serves delicious dinners. I hope we’re able to return in the cooler months for a different experience.

Quiet, comfortable, cute cottage in the pines

The Fox Cottage was perfect for a get-away in Idyllwild. The kitchen was well appointed with everything needed to prepare meals. It was nice to have both a drip coffee maker and a Keurig. The bedrooms were comfy and the bedding was perfect for the chilly nights. The fireplace was a nice edition, although we didn't use it. The room heaters were easy to work and provided comfortable temperatures throughout our stay. The living room was a nice size with a comfortable couch & chair, along with a dining table that could seat 4-5 people. We enjoyed our stay very much.

Relaxing get away

The cabin is very charming, well equipped and decorated. The area was gorgeous of coarse. They were however a couple things that would have made the visit more enjoyable. The bedding was laundered with extremely strong smelling detergent/softener. You might keep in mind that some people are sensitive to the smell and allergic! Maybe consider using free and clear detergent. Also I was looking forward to a”quite” stay . I was not able to enjoy the quiteness of the area because the heater needed to run constantly and was very noisy. But overall the stay was ok.
