Idyllwild skulle helt enkelt inte vara komplett utan denna hemliga pärla som just blivit tillgänglig att hyra som fritidshus! "Three Gazing Stars" är ett rymligt fyra sovrum, 3 badrum och har boende för upp till 8 personer. Detta hem har många uppgraderingar inklusive en ny SPA! Gästerna kan njuta av en otrolig utsikt över Lily Rock medan de smutar på varm kakao eller njuta av en film på platt-TV medan de gillar och äter popcorn. Du kommer att älska att spendera tid på gården, det är som att ha din egen hemliga trädgård med områden att koppla av och läsa en bra bok eller bara meditera och lyssna på naturen. Rounding up to 4 -- Attentive staff!

Four ladies celebrating being born in 1975 (Don't make me say it. Do the math. Ahem)Overall, a nice stay but there were some (mostly) manageable hiccups along the way: We were not informed that you enter the property through the side door. Spent 10 minutes in the snow trying to get inside before we called management. He was there in a jif to solve the problem.-Some of the kitchen appliances need to be replaced. Stovetop kept turning off when we tried to boil water. Countertop coffee maker's timer was broken. Microwave above the range is completely dead (no not indicating). The replacement, countertop microwave is teensy and works at about 1/2 power, so your two minute oatmeal will take roughly 5 to heat up. -wiring in the living room was a bit sketchyWhat WASN'T manageable for me were the smells in the house. Towels were laundered with floral-scented detergent and there were incredibly potent air fresheners hidden around the house. If you've got a sensitive sniffer or suffer from migraines (like me!) this could be a tricky stay for you. We sleuthed out the air fresheners and put them outside, then removed the scented detergent pod from the washer and ran my towels through the hot, sanitizing cycle without any soap. That pretty much took care of it.Beyond those things, we enjoyed ourselves. Walk to town isn't a straight-shot but it's a beautiful walk through the neighborhood. The driveway is very steep so plan accordingly. Staff was friendly & attentive!

Amazing

Cabin was nice and spacious, and walking distance to town. Even tho its very close to town, you still enjoy some beautiful views from the upper deck. Would've loved to have a gas fire pit out in the deck or down in the gardenarea.

Great place to stay for a family

Our family of 6 adults and 1 2-moth old child and 3 dogs stayed here this last weekend. Had a wonderful time. The house was great and close to town. Fantastic views from the deck.

Immaculate and spacious place a short walk from town

We very much enjoyed our stay with two families and 8 total adults/children (+2 dogs). The place was spotless and had plenty of room for all of us. The fenced in yard was large and a real plus for letting the animals run around. We had some minor issues with breakers and hot tub but the property managers were extremely responsive and came out promptly to fix things. An overall great weekend.

Perfect family gathering location.

This house was beautifully located with stunning views of Taquitz. The porches were the best place for coffee in the morning and grilling burgers in the afternoon. However, the evening visits just soothes the soul in the twinkling lights, under the pines and oaks of the side yard. The house has a well stocked kitchen, beds are comfortable and the sheets are soft. The layout of the house is well planned as the rooms are private and quiet from the rest of the house. We all left our weekend getaway feeling refreshed.

Absolutely Perfect

I have been coming up to Idyllwild for over thirty years and my wife and I have enjoyed many beautiful properties together…but this amazing house is definitely now one of our favorites. The views are epic, the indoor space is super comfortable and spacious, providing plenty of room for our toddler to run around, without disturbing the adults! It has everything you need and more. We look forward to coming back! It’s an awesome location!!

What we needed

Four bedrooms, 3 baths- perfect for our family of 7. The 17 year old had his own escape on the lower floor. There was no access to get out for the little ones on the middle level. The adults took the top level. Be aware, heat rises. There was a floor fan to help in one room and the ceiling fan helped a little. Steep driveway, but has room to turn around, so no one has to back down. Is a short distance to town, but just the driveway alone and blind turn no shoulder road makes it not easily walkable. The town itself is adorable and welcoming to tourists. Good restaurants, shops, theater, street entertainment.

Wonderful cabin and staff

This is an amazing cabin. Super clean with views and all the amenities you need. The pictures don’t do it justice. They even decorate it for Christmas including a Christmas tree! The staff was great, very attentive and kind. Will definitely return.

Worst Cabin We Ever Stayed At

If this cabin ever looked like it does in the photos, it was a long time ago. Saying this property needs TLC is an understatement. There are nails sticking out on the deck (where my 2 yr old cut herself), an ant colony living in the kitchen, all the tables are stained or damaged, half the lights don’t work. The upstairs smells like a retirement home. And that’s just the inside. The yard hasn’t been tended to in years. There are random boards laying about, broken glass around the property. The lawn furniture is straight from a junk yard. The listing photos are from the best angles. The property is small, underneath another cabin up the hill. And the whole reason we chose this location was for the hot tub, which takes 24 hrs to warm up! That is not an exaggeration. We couldn’t use it at all the first night (it only warmed 3 degrees after 6 hrs running). And anytime we contacted the mgmt with questions about our stay or about our issues, they were clueless. So yeah, wouldn’t recommend this cabin for big groups, small families or anything in between. We won’t be returning or doing any business with New Spirit as this experience certainly ruined our first trip to Idyllwild. It’s a shame too, if they put the rental $$ towards the property, it has some potential to be a really lovey listing.

Idyllwild Mountain Air

We loved the view from the deck and the location. Large living room area and deck space. Lots of everyday necessities available. We are senior citizens and a brief description of multiple levels requiring stair climbing would have been beneficial to our selection process. We had a wonderful time and used the BBQ every evening. The house was clean when we arrived. There are everyday maintenance items but nothing that impacted our stay. Thank you for a most enjoyable stay.

Would Stay Again!! Beautiful Cabin

We really enjoyed this cabin, very clean and located in a nice neighborhood. The only issue was the driveway-it's located on the top of the hill and the driveway is very steep and it was covered in snow and ice. Luckily I had 4 wheel drive to get up and down the driveway. The management company was very nice and helpful! I would definitely stay there again!
