âWonderful boutique hotel in a quieter area of Viseu surrounded by water fountains, a lovely church and a simply wonderful park with an abundance of wildlife. Great selection of close restaurants. We particularly enjoyed Vintage restaurant just a 2 minute walk. The owner is a real charmer.
The staff at Avenida are very friendly and helpful. Rooms are spacious, well equipped and clean.

Första rummet vi fick var inte stĂ€dat, andra rummet luktade fruktansvĂ€rt men det tredje var ok. Det fanns ingen hiss sĂ„ att man fick bĂ€ra upp sina vĂ€skor sjĂ€lv. PĂ„ hotellet fanns en automat med godis och en för kaffe men inget annat att Ă€ta. Vi tog en öl i baren och Ă„t vĂ„ra medhavda mackor eftersom allt i nĂ€rheten var stĂ€ngt. âIn all honesty, this is one of the best hotels we have stayed at; When it comes to peace, quiet, calmness and comfort. It has this soft, dark-ish style with low lights. The spa was excellent, and the dinner was amazing. The price you pay for the quality of the food is very, very good. The breakfast was also outstanding. We have nothing negative to say about this hotel, and we recommend it 100%.â
âSolar da Capela is very clean hospitable family hotel. They went out of their way to assist. We came to Sao Padro de Sul mainly for Thermal pools. We went to many places where we enjoyed thermal pools for a whole day, but this place only allow one hour at high price. This kills small hotel business. For the hotel , we will stay again, highly recomended. â
