The staff was extremely attentive and the breakfast was lovely (an excessive amount of food and lattes were offered!!). They even offer to bring the breakfast to your room if you prefer. They directed me to a free public lot for parking which was about a 7 minute walk. We would absolutely stay here again.”
“Simply the best! You feel safe, secure, relaxed, welcomed, and taken care of. Everyone in the staff is friendly and greets you wholeheartedly. Housekeeping is excellent, pool bar is cosy and inviting leading to conversations with both staff and guests, the beach is superior to Agia Marina and Platanias, and the manager Nikos treats everyone as a part of his Phaedra family. All this makes it feel like a home away from home.

“Nice hotel a few km outside of Chania.
Well kept hotel with super nice staff!!
Our biggest concern is that the sunchairs by the beach are extremely uncomfortable! Many of us who go there go to hang by the beach but the comfort was definitely not there. As always the good comfy chairs by the pools were taken by the early birds at 7.30 AM.....
For such an expensive hotel you would expect them to invest a little bit more in the comfortable beach chairs. ”
“We had an excellent stay at Porto Vecchio. The hotel itself is situated right in the old town about 2 streets back from the sea, in a pretty little corner on a lovely back street. As the old town is pedestrianised, we were dropped at the top of the main street by our taxi from the airport, 25 mins away, and had a short 5 min walk to the property. The reception is not manned at all times but someone was always at the end of the phone should you need any help and I believe, not far away either....
“Luxury petite hotel located in great location, very close to the beach and the old harbour / town.
Staff went above and beyond to help with requests.
Rooms were spectacular and the sun rise / sun set views were even better. Fresh bottles of water left in our rooms daily. Breakfast was a typical buffet, however there was always little changes IE waffles one day, pancakes another or the omelette was a different recipe.
Pool was great, clean and often not busy.

“We stayed here for 4 nights and we enjoyed it a lot. The hotel is new and modern, an elegant place. It is situated minutes away from old town and by the sea. In the other direction was a beach 10-15 minutes walk.
Especially we enjoyed the rooftop with a pool, sun beds and a bar. As it’s a small hotel we found it very relaxing to stay here.

“This was the best hotel me and my husband have been staying in, it was so fresh and cozy. Everything from the staff, to cleaning, to the food, the interior and exterior was great.
The breakfast was excellent and had a verity of everything, they also changed some of the things from day to day so it wasn’t always the same. They cleaned the rooms and changed towels everyday.
The location of the hotel was really central, you could get to the beach by 15min walk and to the old town by 5min walk....
