The dinner was delicious with a complimentary tamale to start and the mushroom pasta was to die for. The room was beautiful with a wood fireplace, heated duvet, large bathroom and amazing shower. “The hotel has a classic business feeling to it and the rooms on the higher floors do have nice views. Free wifi is another plus. However, the attitude of the staff is rather snobbish and the walls of the rooms are way (!) too thin. When I pay this much for a room I don't expect to hear every word of my neighbours skype conversation. That's simply not ok.”

“The property feels safer than any I’ve been it. The interior design is upbeat and unlike your average hotel. Great bedding, great tree top view allowed us to be entertained by mourning doves and hummingbirds. The breakfast was average for this area: eggs, fruit, fruit juice with or without sugar. In house roasted coffee. The manager and staff were efficient and friendly. We particularly liked Fernanda, the woman who served us breakfast on day one off three.”

“The hotel is uphill with beautiful views of the mountains. The sunset was incredible. Be aware the road is unsealed the last kilometre and you need to WhatsApp message the hotel in advance of arrive for them to open the entry gate. Staff were very friendly and accomodating even though our Spanish is terrible. This is a boutique hotel with only 5 rooms and we had the place to ourselves.
