âWe booked this spot last-minute during an unexpected overnight layover in Philly and were so glad we did. The location in Old City was perfectâsuper walkable and felt very safe, even walking to grab a late-night Philly cheesesteak after 11pm on a Saturday. It was a little chilly, but still such a fun way to experience the neighborhood.

âI highly, highly recommend! Great location (hipster, cool vibe and location), the property is lovely (the room was huge, clean, modern and had all the amenities). Check-in was via text. We got a code, and it worked for the door to the lobby and to the room. Whenever I had a question, sent a text and received a response a few moments later. Only drawback was TV - Roku. You have to have access to streaming services to watch ESPN for example. I get it, just not convenient. What a gem! Will...
âReally enjoyed our stay at the Kestrel. Its central location made it easy to get to everything we wanted to see in Philadelphia. We walked everywhere but some sites may be too far for others. We especially loved how close it was to Reading Market which quickly became our go-to breakfast and snack spot. Would add that their communications were extremely thorough and that helped things go smoothly. â
