âThe Spring House Inn is a beautiful property with all the essentials to make it an exceptionally clean, beautiful, retro, woodland retreat. Our King Suite had a hot tub in the room and we had our own balcony, overlooking the spring!
We stayed here one night on our way to Detroit from La Crosse. We were supposed to drive North to Lake Superior after Detroit but decided to come back to the Dunes Area so we can explore and get some down time at the Spring House Inn. The Speakeasy and Uno Pizza is...
âI always stay at this hotel when I come home to Northwest Indiana. The cost is always reasonable. The rooms are clean. Itâs quiet. Every room has a gorgeous view of the lake from your balcony. No matter what my reason is for staying here, itâs always a peaceful pleasant experience.â

âOur bathroom shower and area around it was in bad shape , the shower curtain rod was not attached properly so it was allowing water to leak outside of area and it has been that way for a long time because the damp odor was very prominent!!â
âWhat can I say, it was clean enough, had free rooms and was decently priced so no complaints.
With that said, it was in need of a refurbishment and that probably quite some years ago.
But close to the off-ramp and some decent restaurants.
Will I go there again? No probably not.
Would I recommend it? No probably not.â
âThe entire staff was very helpful and kind. The breakfast lady worked hard in keeping things filled and hot. The cinnamon rolls were the best, of course, but everything was good. I would recommend this hotel to anyone. The city of Michigan City had several things to do, including the beach. It was close enough to Michigan, to get to some of the other towns that were magnificent. â
âBeautiful property. I love what they are going for and I believe the end result will be incredible. The evening staff gentleman was easy to understand and knowledgeable. â
