Nice and comfortable hotel
A nice hotel and staff. The beds are fantastically comfortable! They can't help that the area is boring but it is close to city with car. The only boring bit is the breakfast which didn't impress us.

Note: I was attempting to go into great detail in this review to help both potential guests and hotel management as the detail I’m providing is easily verifiable adding validity to this review but Expedia limits the review to 1500 characters. See bullet points below instead: Front desk staff: Pleasant when interacting but unprofessional. Actively ignoring guests at the front counter. One was ignoring me near the front office, scrolling on a cell phone and when I said “hello?” She made eye contact then walked into a back office and never returned. The young lady that did help me was nice and the most professional staff I dealt with. Facilities: Filthy and in a terrible state of disrepair with a clear lack of maintenance to the point of safety concerns and likely code violations. My room: while marginally better than the common areas it was in disrepair with broken furniture, tattered curtains, stained bedding, and unpleasant odors. Location and general surrounding area: Rundown and populated by unhoused individuals everywhere including right outside the hotel door that I had to actively walk around to enter. While I’m making no judgement about those individuals some may feel nervous or unsafe under those circumstances so I wanted to let other potential guests know so they wouldn’t be surprised. This facility has a 4.7/5 score on Google reviews which was a deciding factor in booking it. I have no idea how that is possible. If photos are allowed I’ll add a few.

THE RATES WERE REASONABLE FROM OTHERS. STAFF WAS ALSO KIND SPECIALLY Mr. TOM AT RECEPTION HE IS A GREAT MAN 5 STARS FOR HIM. PROPERTY WAS QUITE OLD BUT REASONABLE DIDNT FIND ANY DIFFICULTY

I booked this deal based on the pictures of a jacuzzi in the photos for the room I selected when I arrived they had no jacuzzi suites available for upgrade. I then located another hotel to book it and they told me that I would get my second day refunded and so I am still waiting on that refund of $68.

Stayed here two years ago as they did a remodel and it was nice . Now the carpet is ripped in the main hall way the trim painting on the halls and inside the rooms is worn and dirty looking . Just kinda looking run down ! Sad

a great lower budget hotel. I do feel a bit over priced for what it is. But still worth it. It is a bit run down, but nice and clean. Staff is very helpful. breakfast opens early and that is great. I would come again.

The vending machines were empty. If you wanted a soda you had to go to the front desk. I couldn't find anyone, so I was heading to their juice machines to see if they were working. I found the clerk watching TV in the room. I had to shut off the auto turn on light in the bathroom, because it kept turning on and off. It was hot in the room, but I was afraid to use the fan or AC because it was making a very loud squeaking noise.

It was easy to get to but when we got to the room the window was open and i was cold - shut it and went to lock it and it had NO LOCK was the biggest issue but also we were to have a jacuzzi tub and we didn't. When I asked for another room, it seemed like it was a huge inconvenience to them. But even the new room i finally got was not right just a tad better....Still could not lock the window properly but made do and still no jacuzzi tub.

Clean rooms. Noisy neighbors, seemed to have a lot of longer term tenants. Staff knocked on the door to tell me I was 10min past my check-out time, then tried to open the door! Shower was weak.

Gem just outside of Downton Indy!
Room was very clean Hallways and common places could use a deep clean Close enough to downtown for a cheap uber in, and still save $ on not paying for downtown hotel and crazy downtown parking!

I arrived late in the evening after 11 pm. Upon arriving discovered there was no plate in the microwave, told the staff they said would find one didn't hear back from that night, had to eat cold food. Spoke to staff again in the morning finally got a plate around 12 pm no apologies or compensation. The hallway smelled like urine most of the day when house keeping was cleaning the rooms worse than a nursing home.

The staff was friendly, beds were comfortable, and the breakfast was good, and the staff had nicely decorated the dining room for the Holidays, but the hotel itself was a bit run down making our stay uncomfortable. There were scuffs, dings, and worn or dirty patches on the doors, walls, furniture, and carpet in the halls and in our room. The chair in our room had a big white splotch on the arm rest. We found little bugs in the bathroom in the middle of the night and had a hard time sleeping after that. After breakfast, we saw into the staff kitchen where they prepare the food (the door was open) and the cabinet doors looked especially dirty and run down. Aside from the friendly staff, we would not recommend the hotel or stay there again.
