“A Hidden Gem in Whitby! Our experience at The Beaches was simply wonderful, largely thanks to Tamsin, a genuinely perfect hostess. The accommodations were spotlessly clean, and the location couldn't be better, perfectly situated for exploring the historic Abbey, fascinating museums, and charming pubs. The breakfast was a real highlight, delicious! We will wholeheartedly recommend this guest house and are certainly planning our return trip.”

“Lovely property in an ideal location to walk and explore Whitby. Very clean and tidy. Well stocked kitchen for cooking bits and pieces. Plenty of information of the surrounding areas and clear instructions regarding bins, parking, check in and heating. Brilliant communication from the hosts before stay. Would definitely recommend and visit again! ”

“Lovely 60th birthday stay. The food was excellent, the bar, the lounge area and the dining facilities are so snug and such nice places to be. All the staff were friendly and helpful. Would thoroughly recommend this hotel and hope to return in the near future.”

“Just ten mins walk to town centre, few minute walk to north sea seaside, location is lovely. The room is clean, the bed is comfy, the shower has high water pressure which is good for after walking all day. The only one thing is kettle doesn't clean, some water left there when I check-in.”
