This place was cozy and just perfect. Bed was comfy and shower was great. It is located in a wonderful retreat area in the woods/country setting. Great to see nature is still in Florida and not just getting cemented over.

This was the worst experience I have ever had on vacation. We booked a one bedroom cottage at a cute property with a cafe, pool, fire pit, and other amenities. On our drive there I get a text with a street a mile from that location and a key code. It’s a residential area very little lighting and No amenities. Im not sure the age of the cottage itself but it was sinking into the backyard. It tilted toward the back right side and in the middle between the kitchen and living room the tile was cracked and the wood rotted. The outdoor area had a single chair around a make shift fire pit. The make shift divider between the other cottage next to it is barely standing and dangerous. A 7 ft tall and 10 ft wide lawsuit waiting to happen. One stiff breeze and off it goes, the flimsy boards used to attached the top side to a nearby tree are not to code. Our kids joked we rented an escape room.

Not what I was led to believe.
Booked a cottage because I had a pet.. then when we got there we where put in a upstairs b&b room. We saw no staff till the next day. Then the staff had a fit that I had a dog. They did finally put us in a cottage but only because they where worried about the health department finding out the dog was upstairs. Also tried to charge me a extra 40 dollar for a pet fee.

Absolutely Lovely
What a lovely place. What makes it all the better are the lovely lady who owns the place and the other guests. Being able to put your breakfast order in the night prior is a big plus. I will definitely be returning.

We arrived and check in was totally easy. The cottage was cute and appeared to be clean. The property was quaint. It was a little overgrown, random trash was picked up by my spouse. The pool was the best part of the stay. I have to say though, my main concern was all different kinds of bugs (outside florida normal) but inside the cottage, maybe in the living area couch and chair (hoping not bedbugs, we are gonna have to treat everything before bringing home) we were unable to truly relax. Tiny ants on kitchen counter, some form of beetle in bedroom and bathroom, moth in the shower, small specks on beds white mattress covers. I think i got bit on my forehead in the middle of the night:( The area is Very rural.

Near wonderful kayaking, hiking, birding, antiquing. Clean, quaint and cozy, you will love the character of this place. Be sure to try the Blackwater Restaurant in nearby Yankeetown.

Very clean and comfortable. Much more cozy and friendly than staying at a chain hotel. Will definitely stay here again next time I’m in the area.

We booked here thinking we had booked a cabin for $89.99. When we arrived, we were put in a tiny room up a narrow staircase with only one chair for the two of us. Then our credit card was charged an extra $30.00 for resort fee. What resort? There was nothing there. We wish to appeal surcharge and we will never stay at this terrible place again!
