Don't go by the over- or under-photoshopped pics. The place is extremely comfortable, well-sized, with a plush bathroom, all imaginable amenities, the nicest kitchen we have seen, and amazing views. Please don't forget to gaze at the stars at night.
We stayed in the Learach room. Since this is the located the "lowest" of all cabins, it gets the least amount of afternoon / evening sun and limited views of the water from outside, but we didn't mind.

“Mycket trivsamt och fräscht hotell i mysiga Portree. Vi hade ett superiorrum med härligt badrum. Stort fullängdsbadkar samt separat dusch. Sköna sängar och bra temperatur i rummet. Vi trivdes bra.
Gratisparkeringen är en bit bort men det fungerade bra för oss som hade hotellet som bas för vår tredagars vistelse på Isle of Skye. Frukosten var god och fräsch. Vi åt också en måltid på restaursngen och maten höll hög kvalitet. Också puben var trevlig och gemytlig.

The homepage says that hopefully you would feel like home. Sadly we were told that we were not allowed having our own candy with us as we played cards in the lounge in the evening. It’s an cosy, laid back lounge and that actually took some of the “home feeling” away.

"Fint hotell men tyvärr ingen AC på rummet, bodde i ett rum för 4 men de två enkelsängarna hade så tunna madrasser att man kände fjädrarna igenom. På frukosten beställde vi ägg stekta på båda sidorna och fick efter 25 min in ägg stekta på ena sidan, i övrigt var frukosten god men servicen var tveksam. "

"Vackert beläget hotell med fina och fräscha rum. Men lite överpris på mat och dryck.
Frukosten var ingen trevlig upplevelse. Servitrisen pratade väldigt högt och lyssnade inte. Hon sprang iväg innan man var klar med ordern. Allt i menyn skulle man beställa och det fanns ingen buffé för att plocka juice och sånt själv. Då hon inte lyssnade fick vi knappt nåt av det vi ville ga. "
