“The building is very old (the oldest hotel in Alaska) but it was a great stay. I never had any issues. I couldn't open my window because I was on the 2nd floor and the building looked to be built into the mountain so there was a lot of foliage right outside my window, but they provided a box fan. There was a Daddy Longlegs spider on the ceiling but I left him alone and he left me alone. I would stay here again.”

“Hottel Gal was very unhelpful, I got in early requested to check in early and was told I couldn't when i checked the internet site it showed that she could have checked me in. I ended up sitting in lobby for 4 hours. Overall, the place was not very well kept. Room was rundown, and musty. Bathroom hasn't been fixed up in a decade, lots of stains and worn-out floors, tub, and room in general was low budget. Very noisy, from guests, car alarms going off. “Sitka Hotel är ett bra hotell mitt i Sitkas historiska centrum. Liksom de flesta andra hotell i Alaska är det dock inte prisvärt. Ett plus är också restaurangen i hotellet som erbjuder frukost (som inte ingår i priset). Mycket bra också att hotellet lämnade mig gratis på flygplatsen (utbudet av annan marktransport, t ex taxi och buss verkade begränsat)”
