“I stayed at Cape Fox Lodge about 6 or 7 years ago. This lodge was on the level of other premiere lodges in the northwest I love the location the views and the architectural style of the lodge. The room was clean. I was disappointed that the building and rooms are well overdue for a refresh. The menus in both restaurants were not as upscale as they were for my prior visit. “I would not stay here again. While the hotel advertises itself as the oldest hotel in Juneau, its age really shows, and the property is in serious need of refurbishment and updating. the headboards and phone had a thick layer of dust! One of the biggest issues was the noise. The bar downstairs played extremely loud music until 1:00 a.m. every night, and even noise-canceling headphones did not block it out.
